Me and all of my friends have given this location a ton of business and we used to be very impressed. Over the last year the portion sizes have been insanely small. I know there is a set amount given but it’s way less than what it should be. It’s sad because this is close by but I think I’ll have to be trying a different restaurant.

The rice in my burrito was VERY over cooked to the point where it was rock hard. I’m not sure I’ve had a worse burrito in my life. But the manager lady working was very nice.

I'm sure the food would be better if the employees weren't underpaid, and forced to pay for their shift meals. Happier employees = better food and service

I have given up on receiving what I ordered. Won't eat at this location again. Some places have terrible management and it shows.

I go here a lot, workers are great, food is great, everything is done quickly. My only complaint, whenever the “manager” or leader is on shift they start rationing. I get keeping cost down, but its a drastic difference to what I’m used to when shes not breathing down her worker’s necks about portion control.

Pretty good service and very fast for a Barberitos. Food remains relatively cheap but very fresh and filling.

I’ve picked up kids meals from this location many times for my son, and today I was told I couldn’t order one unless he was physically with me—even though it was clearly a to-go order for a child.

What made it worse was the way the server looked at me. She stared at me for several seconds with a smirk, as if she didn’t believe the meal was for my kid. The entire interaction was really uncomfortable and unnecessary. Show me a restaurant that requires your child to be with you when ordering TO-GO! McDonald’s?? Chic-Fil-A??They absolutely do not!! So Ridiculous!

I ended up having to pay full price for an adult meal for a kid. This policy—and the attitude—was frustrating and disappointing.

If this is how they treat loyal customers, I honestly wouldn’t recommend supporting this location (Barnett Shoals) until they reconsider how they handle situations like this.

Everytime I come in this one on Barnett shoals I gotta hear I can't put that on because it's a signature entree...if I want cheese on my burrito, then add it..I'm PAYING FOR IT!. I try my best to be respectful but I'm kinda done if I can't get the order the way I want
Rebuttal: I KNOW it'll change the price, just charge me for what I want. That's how business works, being told no while trying to buy something doesn't feel like good business if I'm a customer. If it's a different meal then charge me but I want it my way ,corporate don't make My burrito so I don't interact with them.

My family was just in the Eastside Barnerittos (we have been loyal customers since Barberittos opened). They did not include a cheese dip in our order and Inhave to drive back to the restaurants (over 25 in the back and forth.) the begrudgingly gave me the cheese dip we paid for. No apology, no offer to upgrade item for the disruption to my families lunch - I will now have to eat cold. Barberittos needs to get ahold on the decline of these restaurants and the redneck service that is becoming the norm.

Edit added*** I have responded multiple times to emails with someone named Jessi. Being catty about my description of ‘redneck’ is not really the way management should offer a sincere apology. Would you prefer low rent, hood, uncouth, trashy, most certainly unprofessional? Maybe you should be more focused on training your line staff to have manners and a basic grasp of customer service practices than taking umbrage with my vocabulary. Work on perfecting getting basic orders correct then come at me with a thesaurus and a dictionary.
