I hadn't been to a Barberito's in quite a while. Ran by the one in Five Points today to grab lunch to go. The service was lack luster, the food was bland, and the chips were TERRIBLE! Stale and chewy like they had been sitting there for 2 or 3 days. --- DOUBT IF I'LL BE GOING BACK THERE.
Brittany was the MOST PATIENT server while I put in a super obnoxious order in the middle of lunch. She was so sweet, and took care to be accurate so I could get exactly what I wanted!
While the Taco Stand is a classic Athens eatery, and Moe's tries really hard, Barberitos is my go-to spot for Southwestern style, fast but fresh food.
The 5 points location is a gem. It's bright, spacious, staffed with wonderful and patient people who are on top of making sure you get it exactly as you'd like.
Shame I can't give the 6 stars.
