Blind Pig Tavern - Eastside

We came to Blind Pig on the west side to celebrate my sister’s graduation, and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Our server, McKenna, was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional from start to finish. She repeatedly used the F-word loudly around children at our table. Then, shockingly, she made a racist and inappropriate comment, saying: “Y’all are chill so I won’t charge y’all, as long as y’all aren’t Black and not tipping.” She also spoke negatively about another group and said, “They should kill themselves,” referring to them making her coworker cry. On top of that, McKenna messed up all of our tickets, couldn’t figure anything out, and started yelling at us. When we were standing near the register waiting for our checks to be sorted out, she was passively aggressive and pushed past me and my husband, brushing us aside without saying anything. The manager came out briefly but was no help at all. He tried to assist, then just walked away and left us to deal with the chaos. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I hope the management at Blind Pig takes this seriously and addresses it appropriately. We will not be returning.

At a recent visit to the Eastside Tavern, the burgers were overdone to the point of being tough and tasteless. French fries were cold and soft. The previous time we went, my burger was very greasy. I give up.

Ordered here today and I will never eat here again! I got wings and a Philly cheese steak sub with Cajun fries... It was disgusting. I paid $1 xtra for wet wings and the wings had NO flavor. The sub was HARD like the bread was microwaved too long. The fries were soggy & my meal almost $30. Food is bland and not good at all.

Pretty cool place to eat. If I complain about anything, some of the items are hit or miss. Their burgers are good, and so is their chicken salad melt, but they miss the mark with barbeque and bready onion rings. Their ranch is amazing, though, and made up for it.

I placed to go order and when I went to pick it up, it wasn’t found. Come to find out the person who took my order put my name down incorrectly. My name begins with a M they put down that my name was something completely different a name that started with an S. Which caused me to wait longer than I needed to for my pick up order. My boot ended up being call and I did not get to enjoy it as much as I wanted to, but I plan on trying it again real soon.

The atmosphere seem like a lot of regular customers were blocking the entrance, blocking the bar for me to pick up my order among a few other things.

It was loud and hard to hold a conversation across the table. But we still had a good time and the food was great.

Waitress never checked on us and was MIA the whole time. Finally found her up front sitting down on her phone. We never got refills. My kids food was cold when it was put on our table. The wings were dry, only one side of my husband's bread was toasted. My salad dressing tasted like mayonnaise. I have been recommending this place to my customers, as I work in hospitality, as it used to be good a few years ago; and now I won't be. Sorry this place went so down hill :(.

My first time ordering ahead from this establishment. I placed an online order at 6pm with a pickup time of an hour & 10 minutes later. I ordered 2 entrees & both were wrong. I received the wrong flavor of wings (ordered garlic parm & got lemon pepper ) & the tomato added to the burger was missing which made it dry. Hard to believe with a whole hour notice that both plates ordered were wrong. I still gave 4 stars because the food quality was good minus the brown edges on the celery & wilted lettuce leaf. A very disappointing $28.00 & a 40 minute round trip though.

I ordered a bbq pulled pork sandwich because I was craving one and the place I normally order from was closed. I figured it couldn’t be bad it’s just pulled pork slathered in bbq sauce as the description said. But I was wrong, so wrong. I don’t know how in the world it had the flavor it had but it was nothing even remotely close to bbq. It tasted like straight up vomit.. worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. Don’t waste your money here. Clearly it’s called blind pig because an actual blind pig made this food.
