This is a lovely place. Typically quieter and slower than other Athens bars, making it a nice escape to avoid the crowds. The bar is located on the second floor, has nice bar and booth seating, and nice window views onto north campus. They have a great selection of alcohols, including a large range of craft beers. The bartender Parker was incredible. He was funny, kind, talked with us, and gave us incredible service. He makes wonderful drinks, I was very happy with what we ordered. Very nice bar to relax and have a drink at.

No food..atmospheres nice but service is down right atrocious half the time. One of the bartenders is always too drunk and mixing up cards.

Sam, the bartendress, was great. My boyfriend likes stouts, which are hard to find. Blue Sky Bar had 3 and Sam was able to describe them so my boyfriend picked the best one for him. I am no fan of stouts but I tried it and thought it was great.
Then I asked for a jalapeño flavored beer. Sam said the bar didn’t have one but then she made two draft beers with spicy bitters for me to try💙.
We sat in a great booth that overlooked the campus.
We did leave after we smelled an employee, I assume, smoking weed nearby behind a closed door

No food. Just a bar. Small chalkboard sign indicating the stairs leading to upstairs bar. It was before a NCAAF UGA game day so the bar was empty. The bar tender was friendly and attentive so we had a good chat. We liked the bar for the bar tender and had a good time. It’s probably swamped on game day!

To get here you need to go through Walkers Bar (which is rustic and nice w a great staff) part of their seating is an alleyway which was cool! Then out back you go up stairs and find Sky Blue. Super friendly staff, atmosphere was awesome- academia but with natural lighting. Full bar AND great prices. I had Bookers on the rocks and it was only $8.

As much as I wanted to try this spot, I couldn’t. My fiancé and I came in and was never greeted by the only bartender visible. We were out to celebrate a birthday but unfortunately the vibe wasn’t there. She was in a deep conversation and it seemed to me that we were not important. Guess you have to be a college student from around or a regular to be acknowledged. I can say the atmosphere was right, however the service sucked and we immediately left right out.
