Excellent chicken and waffles. Waffle was fresh and light. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. Meat was of good quality and fresh.
Honestly not worth the trip personally. The staff was dismissive and not even in the front most of the time. Food took a long while to come out, despite the place being empty. Pretty overpriced for some chicken that was too watery. There are better places to get chicken downtown.
just found hair in my burrito..
Delicious
Food was fresh and hot. Friendly service. Waffles were excellent.
THIS PLACEEE is soo good. Recommend to all
We beat the crowd and had great service! I really enjoyed the unique flavor of the chicken tenders with my waffle and the waffle was delicious. The Waffle Sandwich was really good, too!
I went the first time they opened, and the food was okay. I recently went again to give it another try and the food definitely improved. The prices are a little high, considering it's just chicken and waffles, but understandable since it's in downtown. I wanted to go again yesterday, but they were short staffed (only two people were working) and had to close earlier (1 hour and a half). As much as it sucked for me, I completely understand. Management needs to do better and not overwork their staff!
The food is not good. There was a hair in my eggs, and the staff was nice about remaking them, but they tasted so gross. The waffle had a weird taste and was doughy. My sister's burrito made her sick. The lemonade is horrible. Do not reccomend it. The workers were nice, and the place was clean. Food took a bit long to come out.
The chicken and waffles here are a must-try! The chicken had a delicious, distinctive seasoning that stood out from other places. The food was hot and clearly freshly made. The waffles had a satisfying crunch and paired perfectly with the Bruxie syrup. We also ordered 'THE ORIGINAL' to go, which was equally tasty. Unfortunately, we were overcharged $2.05 for the to-go order. The screen displayed $11.45, but we were charged $13.50. We only discovered this upon reviewing our email receipt later. Not sure if there is an upcharge for to-go orders

I had no idea this place existed until today. The chicken and waffle sandwich called the original is off the hook.
I’ve been curious about Bruxie’s chicken and waffles for a while now and finally decided to check them out today. I think the chicken and waffles at The Place are the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had, so I was curious to see how Bruxie compared.
Disappointing. I got the Holy Chicken and the waffle was thin and a little burnt, the bacon was cheap and stringy, and the chicken and egg were done well, but that’s about it. If you really want good chicken and waffles, go to The Place, but they only have it on their dinner menu so if it’s before then, I guess you could go to Bruxie or find another restaurant.
A busy place in downtown Athens, the food was marvelous and so was the staff! Bravo to the crew for getting everyone served in a timely manner with a smile.
Food is so good, came out fast, got a waffle and chicken, staff was very nice. I liked the ice cream too:)
The food at this restaurant is not that bad, but the fact that the wait for the food was so long, it completely ruined the meal. I have been to this location, when there were different restaurants in this building, on two separate occasions before this visit. And every time it has been extremely slow getting our food after ordering. For now we will not be returning until they can fix this.
