Good stuff for breakfast in Athens, Georgia today at Cafe Racer Coffee + Donuts. Homemade biscuits and creative and fresh potato donuts with lots of unique flavors including some made to be similar to Girl Scouts cookies. Awesome place. Small business owners this is something I’d love to have in Paulding County, Georgia more of. Unique & creative food items, atmosphere and good vibes. Awesome place.💯👊👊

The short of it: this is a truly awesome spot in Athens with a very cool and friendly owner. The long of it: the coffee was well made and balanced (not too sweet or too strong), the donuts were fantastic (those pina colada donuts.. I would die happy if I lived off them for the rest of my time on earth), and the sandwich exceeded my expectations far more than I care to admit. (And speaking of the sandwich: Shout-out the Jabronies for being both a dope soccer team with even doper teammates and a subtle-yet-satisfying breakfast sandwich—I really would not have predicted mustard, jelly, and hot sauce working together, but damn it does!!) A hip and welcoming atmosphere adds the glaze on this already great joint.
In all, I give Cafe Racer the heartiest recommendation. Please check them out and support them when you're in town. I genuinely can't wait to check out the new location and see what cocktails they cook up. And go Jabronies!!

This Cafe Racer location has fantastic food at competitive prices. The Midweek Tweak deal as well as the ice cream cones are particularly good prices that really reward recurring customers. The menu also has a GREAT variety and I truly don't think there is anything bad on the menu.
I'm giving 4 stars because more than once I've attempted to go here for Lunch/Dinner and the drive through is closed because the credit card machines are down, they're cleaning, there's some kind of emergency. It happens, It's no ones fault, but it IS an issue. The other thing is the seating at the location is quite limited but this has actually improved since opening, it's still not where it probably should be but it's better and I think will continue to improve.

I was in the area and this place did NOT disappoint! It had a drive-by-esque to the place where you eat outside after picking up your food. The food, itself, was great. It had a unique kick to your “classic biscuit” with flavors such as jalapeño cream, buffalo sauce, and a cheese crust.
