I usually love the atmosphere here which is why I’ve been a customer for years. What blew me away was waiting nearly and hour for food that was served cold. Beans & chicken ice cold. Yuca frita, ice cold. And when I went to the front to tell the cashier we were missing our shake, a female cook in the kitchen, slightly heavyset, younger looking with brown and blonde hair as well as an older heavy set cook were both eating with gloves on and went back to preparing customers food without changing gloves as if there’s not a giant window where people can see into the kitchen. Disgusting and we spent nearly $80 there that day. We were so afraid to send our plates back. Visited on 2/14/26 around 3PM.

Grandson's birthday celebration. Nice outside picnic style tables with umbrellas. Plenty of room for the children to explore and play. Wait staff took good care of us.

This is a great place for casual and authentic Mexican food. I love the interior - bright and festive. I’m glad I stumbled on this place while in Athens.
