We were served by Vanessa and she did an amazing job! She told us it was her first day on the floor alone after training with someone and we wouldn’t have even been able to tell if she hadn’t told us! Food was amazing and service was even better! We come here very often and this was the best service we’ve had! Definitely recommend her as ur server!

Loved the service. Very quick even on a Friday night at dinner rush. Slightly disappointed with the food. Chicken fingers were smaller than they use to be. We use to be able to have plenty to take home, but tonight they were so small that there were no left overs.

Cheddars in Athens offers a variety of entrees at reasonable prices. The restaurant's food is good and the service is wonderful (kudos to Sarah!). Music is a bit loud; otherwise the atmosphere is relaxing. Seating is plentiful and available both indoors and outdoors.

Very slow service. Food was not fresh not good. We asked to speak to the manager after explaining everything, he didn’t really know what to say or do. We got our bill and there was no adjustments for the inconvenience of slow service. They were NOT busy, there is NO reason for this. We should have been compensated for the poor customer service. We won’t be back.

Well, normally, I wouldn't rate a restaurant this low, but it is needed. We were a party of 4 two adults and two kids. There was a bachelorette party, which meant it was pretty loud. But everyone needs to party. Now, I understand that with one waitress, it was going to be kinda rough on her. But she did have help with her large table. Anyway, we got seated and she was really nice and pleasant but after that service went down. I had the shrimp alfredo, which came with toast. Mine came warm and with no toast to which I wasn't told there was no toast, which when asked was brought out burned Texas toast. And, then my daughter got the new t-bone steak meal, which you would think was going to be amazing. But no, not at all it came out burnt. The sides were okay, she said, but that was the meal the steak! The kids each had a Cesar salad , and the lettuce was brown, and they hardly touched. They each got the kids alfredo, which was warm as well, but they didn't complain. We never got refills on our drink, not even water. I was really disappointed since I loved their broccoli casserole. But, after that I don't think we will be returning. Maybe it was an off night, but sure, but this is our experience. Hopefully, when you eat here it is better than ours.
