The stingiest chipotle I’ve EVER been to it’s laughable. I was ordering a bowl for two and the lady working was giving me one spoon full for BOTH bowls instead of one for each. I kept asking her for more and she kept giving me half of the regular portion. As frustrating as that was, I asked for vinaigrette and was given a tablespoon. Not worth your money what so ever. There are better locations in Athens.

I have gotten chipotle from this location previously with no problems concerning the manager or the food. However, the most recent time that I ordered from here, I had to ask continuously for more scoops of toppings to reach a the standard portion size for other locations. The worker was new, which I understand, but when the worker was struggling to provide the correct portion sizes the manager never corrected nor helped the worker in serving the bowl. It is ridiculous to have to ask more than twice to reach an adequate portion. Not only this, but the portion sizing for the vinegarrette was abysmal. I got two with my meal and in the cups there was seemingly no more than a table spoon in the container. Due to this interaction, service, and lack of care for the customers by the manager and employees, I will no longer be ordering from this location and I advise others not to. The male manager seemingly has a lot of problems from the looks of the reviews

I don’t know who prepared the food tonight but it was perfection. This is only the 2nd time my bowl was well seasoned, rice fully cooked and covered in sauce. My chips even had a hint of lime. I order here often and normally everything is dry and mid. I got my food around 10:30 pm. Whoever’s responsible for this, please send me your schedule so I only order when you’re working.
Great food, as always, very delicious! Took a while and they didn't announce that they had our food ready right when they finished it, as we had to go to the counter to pick up a mobile order that was supposed to be on the shelf (was just sitting in the back), but very efficient and great workers! Great city restaurant!

Super slow service. The workers were just chilling instead of making the food

Cheap with the food, they don't even fill up the spoon. They are also cheap with the lettuce. Ugh!

Middle aged guy with the glasses hates his job and makes it pretty obvious that he doesn’t want to be serving u or listen to your requests. The girls at the front are usually really nice though.

Manager with glasses, old white guy with tattoos was rude to customer in front of me. I haven’t ever had tacos from chipotle and when I asked if they had hard shell he shrugged at me and told me he didn’t have time to wait for me. Everyone else there seemed great and I feel bad that they have to work under such and unfortunate human. Getting him gone would help me out but I think would really help the rest of the staff out I can’t imagine how poorly he treats them

Said there was no more white rice. Someone brought out a full thing of white rice 2 minutes later. Said there was no more corn, so when someone else called him out about the rice, he stomped to the back to get more corn. Said there was no more lettuce when everyone could see the lettuce sitting right there in the back. I think he was the manager. Does he just not want people to eat here? I'm confused... you work at a Chipotle in the downtown of a college town. Concerning behavior.

Guy with the hat probably a manger was rude to a kid ordering in front of me saying slow down wait you’re going to fast and he wasn’t. The guy I took a pic of in picture was the rude person I’m referring to. The cashier with the dreads was extremely pleasant I would give him a 10 stars alone he was friendly greeting me young entering and checking out the only reason for lower rating was the guy making the orders with the black hat on and the windows need to be cleaned on the door and take out window but the restaurant was pretty clean other than that. Just only disappointment was the guy with back hat was kind of rude when making orders gave skimpy portions and wasn’t friendly and acted like it was getting on his nerves to be serving customers he would get zero stars if it was based solely on him. Just really expected better customer experience and I can bet he was the management sad face but the food was decent. Need more handicap parking as well had to walk a black and change to get to restaurant. Also they need to wipe down the glass where food is that wasn’t my best experience as well

Do NOT order takeout or delivery from this chipotle. Every time I’ve gone in it’s been completely fine and I get a decent sized portion for what I’m paying for. I ordered takeout last night and when I got home with my food, I had the most minimal amount of food in my bowl I’ve ever seen it was almost laughable. I paid for double chicken and I counted 9 small cuts of chicken in my Bowl, I also paid for queso and it looks like they took a teaspoon and put it on top. I almost drove back, but I have such a busy schedule that it wasn’t worth my time. I ate it and ended up just making myself a sandwich afterwards because it was nowhere near enough to be considered a meal. My friends quesadilla was also pretty much only cheese (also ordered double protein.) We won’t make this mistake again. Do yourself a favor and go to Barberitos from now on. Such a shame that they try and take advantage of their togo customers.

Very friendly staff and quick service. Food tasted great and they have a 💯 health score. This is probably the cleanest chipotle I’ve been in. Great job to the staff and management all around. We’ll be back for sure!

I had always heard good things about Chipotle, but never had the chance to try it until this trip. I was traveling to Georgia for business and, after a long flight followed by a drive from Atlanta to Athens, I was absolutely starving. I was excited to finally try this much-advertised chain.
I placed a mobile order at 5:55 PM, with a scheduled pickup at 6:10 PM. I arrived at 6:12, expecting a hot, satisfying meal. Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed. The bowl was cold—not just lukewarm, but genuinely cold.
Since I’m staying at a nearby hotel (just a 5-minute walk away) that doesn’t have a microwave, I had no way to heat it up. I ended up forcing myself to eat it because I was too hungry to skip dinner, but it was not enjoyable at all.
To make things worse, the beef was extremely poor quality. Around 30–40% of it was made up of hard, unchewable pieces—possibly ligaments or connective tissue.
Thanks for helping me no longer be hungry, I suppose—but this was a major letdown. I won’t be returning.
