The food at DePalma's is always spot-on. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The combination of that amazing, authentic Italian cooking and her perfect service is the reason we're already planning our next trip back! Thank you, Nicky!
The Eastside location has gone downhill over the last few years and it's a bummer, because the menu rules. The service is always stellar. However, there's a seeming lack of quality control in the kitchen. The pasta is never al dente anymore and is sometimes even overcooked and mushy. Everything has become underseasoned (maybe old people complained, I don't know). The house bread, one of my favorite things about coming here, just seems to have less love than it once...
While visiting my Aunt in Athens we got take out From the Timothy Road location. We were told an hour. I arrived 50 minutes later, paid and waited about 10 minutes for the server to return to the bar with our order. I could tell the pizza box was not warm but when it was handed to me. When we arrived at my Aunts condo just a few minutes up the road the pizza and pasta were COLD. Frustrating to have to wait for cold food. The salads were good and the taste of the pizza and pasta...
