I picked up two large pies to go one regular with cheese and another was Margarita. Both were really very good and my friends enjoyed them as well.

I ordered a full lasagna for a birthday party and it was completely dry. When I was picking up he told me there was a cup of sauce for the lasagna, I thought that was great I would have a little extra sauce. Unfortunately that was the only sauce. The salad, pizza and stuffed bread sticks were amazing. Please make sure to ask about the lasagna in your Togo orders. This was at Timothy Road location. Want to add, please train your hostess... my daughter and I were walking with full pans if lasagna, salad, breads ticks and large pizza, and she sat on her phone not offering at all to open the doors. I was so disappointed

My husband got a to go meal at this restaurant earlier in the summer and had a really great experience. When we visited Athens again, he really wanted me to eat there. We went to the restaurant and received some of the worst Service we have ever had at a restaurant.
The waitress ignored us for the first 30 minutes, never apologized, then came to the table without water. She took our drink and dinner order at the same time, which seemed to irritate her. She only wanted to take drink orders, but we sat there so long we were ready to order everything. When she did serve us drinks she put her hand across the top of the glass touching the area you drink from.
In addition, her attire was so inappropriate for food service. She was scantily dressed in clothes several sizes too small. Her attire made us uncomfortable. However, the food was pretty good that evening. The 4 of us have discussed this outing several times since, it was such a bad experience.
But because the food was pretty good, we decided to do takeout again later that week. This time we ordered different dishes. My husband ordered the chicken scallopini, and there were no capers in his order at all. I only ate half of my pork medallions. Our cousin’s salad was delicious and had tons of capers in it. Go figure. When my husband arrived to pick up the order, he was directed to the bar. The only person at the bar was sitting looking at his phone and eating a meal. He waited. After a few minutes, past another employee came into the bar and told the person eating the meal that he had a customer waiting. The person eating and in their phone was the person that was supposed to get our order. He totally ignored my husband.
Overall my experience at the Depalmas was bad. I would not go back. It’s not an inexpensive restaurant, regardless of price I expect better from a service related industry.

I like DePalma's. A little pricey for Athens. But good food.

My score is so low due to my initial walk in. Mackenzie was the host who sat me. She was very rude. Didn't speak. Threw her marker down then walked me to my table and kept walking without saying a word. Stared at
Me the whole time while I was at dinner. My server was great however Mackenzie ruined my experience. She is not polite. She was very kind to other people she sat and served but for some reason just had a bad attitude from the moment I walked in. This is a great place and she should not be here to make the atmosphere so hostile. Please get a better host/server than Mackenzie as I'm sure I'm not the only one who has dealt with this

Great gluten free options. Mushroom appetizer needs more zing. Glazed salmon salad had too much glaze on the fish. Atmosphere was good for large loud groups but not for small quiet talk unless you eat outside.

The chunkiest marinara I’ve ever seen. Kinda weird. Service was on par. Meatballs were a little bland this time. I think they’re slipping. Gotta be more inspired Italian in this town, I heard you were better back in the day….

We had to ask for bread about 15 minutes into our dining experience and the shrimp and grits were not the same recipe as the Eastside. I asked about it and didn't get a clear answer from the waitress. It's definitely better in the Eastside.

Very disappointed. Picked up my to-go order and when checking the items, the pasta Depalma's portion of pasta was very small. When I questioned the portion, the manager stated all pasta is portioned and it looked correct. She hardly even took the time to look in the box. Most disappointing is....I had already tipped 20% when paying on the tablet to pick up my order, the pasta is the least expensive item in that dish, and it would have been so easy to just say....let me get your more pasta, rather than challenge me that the portion was correct, and not offering to fix it, until I commented again about the portion and price of the dish, which she then responded.....do you want me to get you more pasta . I declined, it should have been taken care of as a matter of hospitality. Wish the manager took the time to try to please me as a guest.

We had my mother's 90th birthday party here. No separate private rooms available, but we had two long tables set up and that worked well. We had only one server assigned to us but he was absolutely wonderful. Very organized, attentive and made the whole dinner quite enjoyable. Food was excellent. Plenty of parking in the adjacent lot.

Well, I wanted to have a nice Father's Day dinner with my wife and daughter, but DePalma's had other ideas for me. We will start with the appetizers round. I placed an order for calamari and stuffed mushrooms, no problem, right? Well, 15 minutes after placing said order, the waiter comes to the table to tell us they ran out of calamari along with table bread. Moving to the main course, everything was going fine. We all knew what we wanted, but 5 minutes after I placed mine, I got told they ran out of lasagna. So okay, that's fine. I asked the waiter to tell me what you do have. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs. Once the food arrived, it all looked great, but the looks were very deceiving. We will start with my wife's she ordered a make your own type dish where you choose pasta, sauce, and protein. It had a great taste, but it was more like a water soup. They did not drain the noodles before putting the dish together. So her food had a great taste but the amount of water just made it unpleasant. Now to my daughter, she ordered chicken alfredo it looked great but had no taste at all zero flavor. I hate Alfredo, but I could eat it because it had no taste. Now to mine, it looked like they drained the pot they cooked the noodles in and gave me all the small parts that fell to the bottom of the pot. Not one noodle longer than 2 inches. The noodles were so overcooked it was just mush. So my 28 dollar dish got sent back, and I went without dinner on Father's Day. This was my favorite Italian restaurant but not sure if I will return after this experience. Not what you want for a 125 dollar dinner that includes tip.
