Stopped here after UGA basketball game this past Saturday. My son and I decided on this location, as we walked through town. I had the chicken parm melt with fries and my son had loaded nachos with beef. Plentiful portions and the food was so tasty. We both got clean plate awards. Staff was helpful, thanks Alison A. Service was super quick. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Clean restroom. The music they had on was good, too! We will go again when in the Classic City!

Food was really good and came out pretty fast. staff was super friendly and nice and it was just a whole vibe in there. definitely THE place to go for a drunken cheeseburger! could’ve been a little cleaner, but it’s also a bar in the middle of college bar central so a little mess is definitely to be expected.

Dooley’s is the epitome of excellent bar food with a relaxed atmosphere. The chicken parm melt is a hidden gem… one of my favorite sandwiches of all time! The bartenders and servers are great! Highly recommended!!!

So much fun!! It did happen to be a slower night but the atmosphere is super chill, drinks were great, trivia was FUN, and food was really good!! We are not locals, but will visit Dooley's every time we come to Athens!
Derrek, Celeste, Marlena, and Brady are wonderful at their craft. Worth a visit!

One of the owners, Josh, got in my face over a pool game. He was very intoxicated (slurred speech and stumbling), and this has been an issue for some time. The staff was lovely, and apologized on his behalf. If you are reading this, please offer the Dooley staff more pay elsewhere, and revoke the ownership position of Josh. This is unacceptable, and I am so glad I showed self control in dealing with this liability of a man. I will be in contact with my lawyer to determine if further action is required.

Traveled from Savannah to Athens on game day. Stopped here for dinner and we had a BLAST!! Great food , exceptional staff and OMG what a great vibe. Be sure to give them a try and enjoy the fun . Thanks to the entire staff for a great experience.
