We stopped in Athens, and decided to look for something good to eat before heading home. This place said it was authentic Mexican food, it was perfect. The food was delicious and exactly like the description, portions were good as well. Definitely our new spot when we come to Athens.
Was one of my favorite Mexican/latin restaurants in town, the last two times I’ve been there, the food lacked flavor from what I was accustomed to, the atmosphere and the host were amazing, but the lack of flavor and the beans I got during lunch were very disappointing and runny!
Came across this place close to our AirBnb. Nothing special from the outside but went due to great reviews and so glad we did! Walked in at lunchtime and it was packed with locals...knew we made the right choice. Starting with the salsa, nice flavor with a little kick without being too spicy. Mexican tacos were authentic and fantastic. My husband had the whole fish...delicious. Will definitely return and highly recommend.
