Wonderful food and staff.

I had the most delicious BLT for lunch yesterday at Em’s Kitchen, my first time visit here. Looking forward to a return visit next time I am in Athens.

Chicken Salad bacon ranch cheddar cheese with added avocado is awesome to the point I get it at least 2x a week. The ladies are absolutely awesome!! Great customer service.

My coworkers have called me “obsessed” about this place, but honestly it’s just such a perfect place to swing by and grab lunch. The employees and owner are always the sweetest, and I always feel like there’s a great atmosphere walking in.

My personal favorite foods to get: Pimento cheese BLT with extra red pepper sauce on sourdough, and the Chicken salad sandwich on wheat. They’re simple, but mouth watering every time I consider what to get lunch. Their specials are always tempting too, and the gooey bars are a nice dessert to go with a meal. Honestly 10/10 I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Vegetarian options: There’s vegetarian options, I’m unsure about Vegan. They have a vegetarian special that comes around that I’ve been told is delicious.

Parking: They have a small strip in front that fills out quick, but it’s connected to larger parking lots that you can park and walk a bit further to reach.

Kid-friendliness: Has a kid menu, and the place gives a kid friendly atmosphere. I’ve seen kids there happily eating while I’ve gone to get my food.

Best spot in Athens to get chicken salad. Doesn't get any more smalltown big taste than Em's. Daily specials that are to die for. Wonderful staff who really act like a family. (and some of them are!) Always quick service and friendly faces.

if the pimento cheese at augusta national was as good as em's kitchen's pimento cheese augusta national would have had to

raise the price a long time ago because demand would have outstripped the supply and that is what supply and demand is all about.

raise the price to tamp down demand or increase supply and compound the return on invested capital all the live long day.

go over there to independent baking company and get a loaf of the bread made with dayspring farm flour and some arugula

from diamond hill farm and a splash of california extra virgin olive oil and you have yourself a delicious bit of for

the most part locally grown goodness. on the other hand, do not do any of it, they all might raise prices, so stay

home and eat some cheetos, sport.

Em's is the perfect spot for a quick lunch, breakfast and coffee. I recommed the chicken salad sandwich, the potato soup, ruben and omelets. The cookies and gooey bars are amazing! I have lunch here with my husband often. It has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a break from work. The staff is friendly and they get busy around lunch time. I've also done pickup orders and haven't had any issues. Appreciate the condiments, sugar and honey station is always stocked.

This review is a long time coming, as I have been using Em's Kitchen for almost three years for various work events at ACCA. They always pay special attention to details and instructions, fill our catering orders with relatively short notice, and deliver delicious food on time. I have also found that their catering prices and delivery fees are the best deal in town. The greatest example I could give of their exceptional service is when they still fulfilled and delivered a catering order after a massive storm this past July that severely impacted roads, buildings, and homes. We were so grateful as our event was an educational workshop for family caregivers, so we were trying to do everything we could to still deliver our program. So glad Em's Kitchen helped ensure that our event could go on as normal!
