Saturday, my family and I drive an hour to get to this place. We thought it would be packed and it wasn't. Which is great! As soon as we got in. We were seated. Our server was really nice. And the food.....the meats....were incredible! I didn't have to use salt at any time! Which is rare!! The bacon wrapped chicken....mmmmmm! Ooooh! So, I'm not a fan of lamb. It's always been to gamey for me. My husband had some lamb and I decided to try his. Dude! That lamb is on point! It wasn't gamey at all!! I told my friend that the next we are in the Athens area I gotta take him here for lunch. Thanks guys for a memorable experience!

I wanted to try a Brazilian place. Google showed this place as a 4.8 place to try out. I came to try it out. I walked in and it has a very odd smell . The food at the buffet looked like it was there for a while . I personally didn’t see it appetizing .

The fresh meats were good . I give that a 4 star. The gentleman in charge of meats was friendly and helpful.

I didn’t like the vibe of the server. Didn’t seem friendly and felt like he just didn’t want to be working there. I asked him if we can get couple napkins. He said yeah you can go get them at the buffet. It’s a simple gesture.

I am someone that goes based on the atmosphere , how I am being greeted and treated . I didn’t feel welcomed.

Highly recommend this restaurant! It is family owned, so we are supporting our locals, and the food is authentic! It was so good!! I will definitely be going back!! A def must try! Everything was fresh and delicious!

This is NOT an authentic Brazilian steakhouse. Don't waste your money here. The meats were just okay, the ones they actually had. A few of the meat choices on the menu they didn't have. They charge you $2 per refill on your drink unless you get water, and they will not tell you this. This place is a joke compared to actual Brazilian steakhouses.

Went for dinner on a weekend trip to Athens. Found this hidden gem. The owner and his wife were amazing and the food even better. The waitress was as nice as she could be. All the meats were cooked to perfection

Food was buffet style and felt home cooked. Had a nice flavor and season to everything we tried. Unfortunately we had come in after about 32 people, from what we understood and the buffet was a little bare. Felt like something was missing to really too it off, but the food was really good. I felt like I was sitting at someones home, with the quality and care that went into the food. I'd say to the owners to steer clear of trying to please everyone on a buffet and do what makes Flama Brazilian Steak House, Flama Brazilian Steak House. There's something here, just needs to be roughed out with love. Athens should embrace this place and lift it up to help it grow to its potential. That would honestly be great to have around for nights with friends and family!

I just paid $40 for one of the blandest, most disappointing meals of my life. Sure it is all you can eat but after one plate I didn't want any more. I don't get it.

Great place to come and pig out, if that's what you're stomach desires. I really enjoyed trying all the different types of meat they provide! And I can stay on my carnivore diet with all the options. The price is reasonable considering all you get. We will return soon.

Visited Athens for a staycation for our anniversary. Was looking for something different for dinner and came across this restaurant. The food was delicious and the family owned establishment made for a great evening. Would definitely visit again and wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!

Flama is our go-to for celebrations! Dad is from Brasil and gets to enjoy home flavors and share them with the kids. My new favorite is the grilled cinnamon pineapple with bacon wrapped chicken and fried plantains!
