Got a frostie and it was cold watered down coffee. Barista didn't seem to know what to do, adding random amounts of ice and blending multiple times. Please get some recipe cards or something for baristas to follow for consistently good coffee drinks.

Stop 10 to jittery Joe's for a couple cups of coffee. Service was good coffee was good in and out in a timely fashion and back on our way.

Monday, November 18, 2024 12:45 at the 1860 S Barnett Shoals Rd Jittery Joes Location, I was treated with extremely rude customer service at this location. I am not one to leave a bad review but this employee was so rude I felt compelled to. When asking if I could order a tea blended with ice, a drink I often order at several different coffee shops, the woman on register explained to me like I was 5 it was something they couldn’t do, and proceeded to treat me like I was an idiot “dumbing down” how tea was made. I am well aware of how coffee and tea is made I used to be a barista. She continued to roll her eyes at me and after I patiently ordered, she proceeded to talk crap about me to the other barista working, laughing at me and rolling her eyes, making a show for everyone in the store. I even just decided to take the drink hot and ask for a cup of ice and do it myself, since it seemed like such a hassle for them for me to be there and order a drink. I understand everyone has bad days, as I work in the food/service industry myself, but this was too much. I really like this company and as a student at UGA I find myself visiting several on campus locations very often, but I am confident I will never return to this location EVER again. How I was treated was ridiculous for simply asking for a blended/iced tea. I think it’s important to reevaluate your employees and who represents you as a company.

Tonight I asked a friend buy a sweeted tea with 2 pumps of peppermint flavoring from the Barnett Shoals location and what I received was a plain unsweetened tea. When I called the location, the individual that answered was extremely rude, unhelpful, disrespectful, and had a total disregard for customer service. They claimed that sweet tea isn't offered even though it is an option online. The worker also flat out cut me off and said there's nothing they could do because the store was closed. I understand that and wasnt expecting the door to be held open for me to come back, but I would've liked to come to a resolution of sorts whether it be i get my money back or could come back another day for a different drink. I shouldn't have to pay for poor service or a drink thats undrinkable. Every other location I've ever attended has had helpful and kind hearted workers, but this location has fallen short of the quality of service I'm used to receiving. I in good faith would not recommend anyone use this location, especially with the individual I had the misfortune of encountering.

How many people does it take to make a cup of coffee? Exactly four. How long does it take four people to make a cup of coffee? Well, around 15 minutes.

The seasoned help that opens the shop, top notch. The college girls hired to staff the rest of the shift... well, they're college girls who have no regard for service or speed. They will grow up to be hotel managers and do market research. This place needs actual food service experience.

We can't go to Athens without stopping at JJs!

Well, I got say: "Starbucks Coffee has good competition " The only thing I can say is? Beautiful taste beautiful woman,the coffee and environment is great. There's a little price shift or gradual pricing you got worry about. But,"other Then that?" The place is great.
And deffenently A five star coffee spot.

Poor acoustics and really uncomfortable seating discouraged a long cozy chat. They also discouraged buying additional drinks or food to linger over.

I get it, the place is small and table space is at a bit of a premium. I imagine turnover is problematic with students seeking a place to work on short summer term classes.

The spiced chai latte was served barely warm enough (hotter would have been better) and was cloyingly sweet and gritty.

I always go into Jittery Joe's with optimism. I want to like their product. Yet I never get the same product twice even from the same store.

Counter service was fast and friendly - the best part of the visit - so there was that.
