My friends scheduled a coffee tasting for my birthday this month and it was such a fun group experience. One of their friendly and knowledgeable staff members guides your group through tasting several coffees without revealing what they are, and it's so fun to try to identify the notes with your friends. At the end they reveal what all the coffees were, and I found a new favorite coffee this way. Charlie even gave me a delicious jar of local Kuhlbee Honey as a birthday gift...

I live in SC, but am from Athens. I travel in the area and will make a point to stop and pick up their 5 lb bag of coffee beans. Usually it is a darker bean for our Jura Classic machine so I can set the machine to mild for my coffee and my husband likes it set on regular. We’ve had our machine for 15 yrs and are very particular about beans. Jittery Joe’s is some of the best out there. The owner is fantastic and loves to talk about how he makes the beans if you get a chance...
