My Mother Visited restuarant on 12/10/2024 @ 7:45pm. Service was not good, saw waitress (Karla) when ordered & got bill of $30.85. Left $5 tip, for total $35.85. Credit card was charged for $45.85 (an extra $10). I called & spoke to Mgr (Anna A.) on 12/28/24 @ 12:35pm. I've rec'd a $10 credit to my credit card, but no call back with an explaination; despite me calling twice more (1/3/25 & 1/7/25) & speaking with April to find out the overcharge explaination.

The only issue was that a staff server was in a bathroom stall and when he was done he walked by me picking his face and didn't wash his hand and went into the kitchen.

Our favorite chain Mexican restaurant has arrived in Athens, Georgia! We went a couple days ago and it is beautiful, clean, bright, delicious. We usually visit the Alpharetta or Gainesville locations. Now that there’s a La Parilla in Athens we’ll be visiting this location. We had a server named Luis who was superb. The presentation of the food was amazing.
Parking: FYI - They share a big parking lot with TJ Maxx and other businesses including a Crunch Fitness, so it’s a busy parking lot.

I literally just got home with my to go order after waiting for about an hour at the bar for some nachos and two tacos. When I received my order no apology for the long wait or no offer for anything free for waiting so long. The Order cost close to $30 and this is what I received. I doesn’t take an hour to burn some chips…. I’ve tried to give this place another chance because the La Parrillas in the Atlanta area are always on point. But this just takes the cake for me. I guess I’ll stick to sir sol or Dos Palmas from now on …… 😟
The food was very good! Our waitress Luz was amazing!! She had a small misunderstanding about what one member of our party wanted. But when the food came out, everything was there all at once! No one had to go back for anything. She would check on us and remove any trash from the table! Amazing place. Loved my chicken nachos with chorizo and Peach Agua Fresca. Will definitely be back!!
