I'm going to go a bit long on this review. First off, I dislike public reviews, because, for the most part, I'm starting to really dislike the public, lol. I took the time to read a bunch of these reviews. As expected, with few exceptions, the negative ones were quite frankly, par for the course, predictable.
As for mine, I'll be honest. I'm a Buffalo NY native, later from Rochester. I know delis, and I know subs. It's difficult to find that exclusive northeast "taste" in subs from other locales/regions. It's hard to explain. Furthermore, NOBODY is currently building big, double decker subs that won't fit into the SUB bags anymore. Yall would b*tch at what that'd cost. So don't sh*t on Larry's because it says Giant in their name. I saw reviews were people complained about pricing, evidently clueless to what's going on around them. Produce, food services, any and all overhead is ridiculous right now. Speaking of ridiculous, I had to laugh at the ones saying they'll ditch Larry's for JJs. Yeah let me know how that works out $$$...
LARRY's is a really good place, and a pretty close option for down here in Athens, if you're comparing sandwiches with the northeast. I might suggest a bit thicker on the cheese, adding mozzarella and grated parmesan, and some livelier spice choices. But I STILL give them all their stars. I will be back...and you're over an hour from me.

So disappointed in this chain. Please don’t call them giant subs. The amount of food for the price is sad. It tastes good but hard to see the meat and vegetables are also lacking. Everything was portioned for small kids.

Stopped by to grab a sub while I was in the area since I haven't eaten at Larry's in years. I ordered the ultimate sub and it tasted great! Staff was nice and establishment was clean

Solid and consistent every time. They even have a sneaky good meatball sub. It’s a stud.

My only regret is not getting a larger sandwich! I had the tuna and it was delicious, not overly done but just right. The employees were super friendly and patient (it was my first time). I'll definitely be back!

Not sure what was giant about my $10 sub. Small like 2 pieces of R Beef and bread wad not great. Usually goto J John's, way better.

They just started breakfast. Their English muffin (bacon, egg, and cheese "sandwich") is so good. I chose the English muffin, though it could be on a croissant, everything bagel, and other breads, and choice of cheese.On my 2nd visit I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant. It is also so delicious.I'm really liking their addition of a breakfast menu!

i saw HAIR in my food & than the bathroom not alone had NO toilet paper but a DEAD bug near the sink!
