The Last Resort Grill is our all time favorite restaurant in Athens! We enjoy taking friends and family there because we know they ALL will enjoy the fun atmosphere and delicious food! It’s consistently fabulous!

Service was impeccable, the atmosphere outdoors was good, but food was bland. I had pork tenderloins which was okayish. For dessert, we had tres leches cake, which was very dry. Heard their cheesecake is amazing though!

This is my new favorite!! George and Susan were busy but still extremely attentive and made my first experience here phenomenal!! The food was exquisite! I had the Horseradish Crusted Salmon as my entree and the Potato Onion Pancake as my appetizer. This place is a winner!! 5-stars!!

Long time customer. Long time Last Resort supporter. It is our go to choice to dine with with friends, family, and visitors. Took a friend for her birthday tonight but was embarrassed when manager refused $100 gift certificate due to change of management (no expiration date). Our friends often give them to us because of our loyalty to the restaurant. We will now tell our friends to stop giving them to us, and we will start making wiser choices.

I had the 6 hour pig. It looked and tasted as if it had indeed been sitting down in the kitchen, plated and all, since the night before: super dried and like re-heated. The kale and the grits were good tho.

Went here one night during the week and was really excited to try it because I’ve heard great things! Place was cute and the server was really nice I was just disappointed in the food. To start they give you bread it was okay, but the butter tasted like straight walk-in refrigerator we couldn’t even eat it. I got the short rib and it’s supposed to be so tender it falls apart but I had to do some knife work to cut through it like a steak. Flavor was just okay, I don’t know if the green stuff on top was supposed to be the fresh herbs or “salsa Veracruz” but it just tasted like pesto and didn’t compliment the dish well. My friend had the struggleville pasta and couldn’t taste the black pepper in the sauce at all just heavy cream. Cool place maybe it was just an off night.
