This place has great cocktails, but the food was disappointing. I had the 6 hour pig. It was pretty bland and flavorless. The chorizo want spicy and the sauces were just blah. It needed some acid, like lemon juice or something to bring out the flavors better.

It was okay. Salmon was way overcooked on both salmon entrees we ordered. Our server was curt and not very friendly, seemed like an imposition to wait on us, even though it was a Monday with no wait. The atmosphere was nice, but a cold wind kept blowing in through a hole in the plastic (we were on the heated patio). Margarita was strong but very unbalanced. The crab cake appetizer was really good, though. Wouldn't go back.

A true Athens classic. We recently revisited after 10 years and it still did not disappoint. Great food and service at an incredibly reasonable price. Prepare for a long wait but it's worth it!

It's unfortunate that I have to give a bad review. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Athens. Last night we had a terrible experience. Our appetizer was not fully cooked and we waited over 1 hour 15 minutes for our entrees. The entrees were cold and not well prepared. We had tickets to a play and no time to send our entrees back. Very disappointing experience!!! Our waitress was great, she kept coming over making excuses and said that she had notified the manager, however the manager never came over to address the issues. Poor customer service and food has gone down hill!!

The pork plate I ordered was $30 + and barely came with a very small portion of grits. Come on Grits are not expensive. The wine list by the glass was not as good when Jami was in charge. The server was not very friendly but they were busy and we did get our salads pretty fast. They still have nice local Art on the walls.

Came here this week and got seated right away because it was UGA's spring break and we opted for greenhouse seating outside. For appetizers we had crab cakes and it's the best crab cakes I've ever had. Not much bread filling probably all crab meat! For my entree, I had the trout and corn grits. It's the best grits I've ever had and I normally do not like grits!! It also came with okra. Everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert I had the peach cake. I had a bite and took the rest home. I finally got around to finishing it two days later (stored in the fridge of course) and it was even more delicious!! I want to come back here! It was recommended by my co worker and I will now recommend it to anyone going to Athens!! *chefs kiss* Also The greenhouse was comfortable to sit in this was about 7pm at night, second week of March and weather was 60s. A small heater was provided but not needed. There is a similar concept in downtown Atlanta but instead of a greenhouse it's an igloo and honestly this greenhouse was wayyyy better. I was more comfortable because there was better airflow and sound acoustics was not annoying.

2nd time we’ve been here. 1st to eat brunch which I enjoyed. Customer service has been excellent both times. My one complaint is that the 2nd time was just for dessert and coffee and we were surprised the cakes were as small of a piece as they were. Not that I needed a bigger slice but when the bill came out and we saw it was $11/cake, we were really disappointed. I can see it being a $6-7 slice but not $11. Definitely way overpriced for the amount. The salted caramel was dense and on the dry side.Friendly staff. Nice ambience.

Delicious Saturday brunch today. I had the Lumberjack burrito and my wife had the pulled pork burrito (? not the right name, but you'll find it). Both excellent flavors and presentation. Only thing that could have been better was that it wasn't "hot". Just luke warm and we were part of the first wave ar brunch, so it's not like it sat in the kitchen a long time. It came out fast. Odd. Tasted great. Fried green tomatoes are a good treat, too. They were hot, so go figure. We'll come back...actually this was not our first time, but it'd been years since we've eaten here. Excellent service!

Great food, great service. 10/10 would come back. Apparently there's always a wait, but it's for a good reason!
