This is about the 4th different restaurant in this space. The last was La Estrella and I heard one of the cooks from that place is still cooking here. The same murals are on the walls and some of the same hand painted table covers with the Estrella name and star motifs covered with clear vinyl. In addition to to the usual Mexican specialties the restaurant serves a number of seafood dishes including same very tasty soups/stews like 7 mares and a really outstanding whole fried fish which is not easy to debone but is sweet and crispy . There are also some really good shellfish dishes. The server was not very fluent in English and service was a little slow but willing and pleasant. Food was good enough for us to want to go back and try some more of the menu. Prices were very reasonable.
