The service was great! The food was tasty the only thing that I didn’t enjoy was the Mac and cheese it was super dry and had a bitterness to it. Other than that I greatly enjoyed my visit.

Awesome all-around experience. Walking in, you are greeted with a smile from the sign atop the building, which is cool, but even cooler when the staff were smiling and friendly. Zac with a K, the manager, is a home run hit for this place. Treats you like your the most important friend in the world. I work for the railroad, so I am on the road and eating out all the time. This is by far one of the best establishments I have frequented in my traveling career. The food was healthy clean eatz with full on flavor. I was only in Athens for 8 days and ate there 5 times. That's how good the food was. Definitely check this place out!

Great takes on traditional southern fair. Definitely recommend. I don't know why reviews need 85 characters. This is annoying.

Love Maepole! Be ready for noise if you're coming during a busy period, but the food is worth

Maepole is one of the best restaurants in all of Athens! You can always tell the food is fresh and it doesn't leave you feeling bad after you eat it. Any time someone comes to visit me I always suggest we go to Maepole. The Epps bridge location is my favorite and ALWAYS had the absolute best customer service.

It saddens me to post this because I am a Chase Street Maepole lover. The Epps Bridge location started out with good food but the last couple of months about 35% of the time, the brown rice was either slightly undercooked or the green beans, roasted veggies or chicken were dried out from sitting on the serving line too long. I went this morning hoping to get everything fresh, but the green beans were shriveled up and the roasted veggies and chicken were dried out. The sauces weren’t out and hadn’t been prepared yet for the day. Next time I want Maepole, I will go to Chase street.

We’ve been Maepole fans for years, but this location is already suffering the same problem as Chase street: consistency. When it’s great, it’s great! Two nights ago the food was flavorful, hot, and portions were perfect. Then, two nights later, although the flavor was there, the food was cold and the portions were cut in half. My favorite places to eat in Athens not only have food that tastes good - they also deliver the same experience each and every time. I don’t have to think, “maybe they’ll get it right tonight.” Wish I could say that about Maepole. I hope they get it figured out because we need healthy food options in our local restaurants.

I've been a frequent customer of the Maepole North Athens location since I was a wee college freshman six years ago, so hearing that they opened another Maepole on Epps Bridge was exhilarating. My boyfriend and I stumbled in after the host at the breakfast joint across the parking lot tricked us with the old "30 minute wait that turns in to an hour and a half" trick, so we were hungry and, now being 1:00pm, no longer in the mood for breakfast. Needless to say, Maepole rose to the occasion. Well, rose to the occasion as best as a the minimalist style of Maepole possibly can. The new location was cute, the service was good, and the food, as always, was healthy and delicious. Considering the initial plan for the morning was strawberry shortcake french toast, I think our stomachs thanked us.
First time customer. Rice was not completely done. String beans could have been a little more tender. Chicken and roasted vegetables were ok.

My husband and I ate lunch there today and we're not pleased. They were out of the fried fritters for the protein and we were told that they would bring them to our table when they were done this of course never happened. The food itself is bland no salt and the little seasoning it did have was burned Rosemary gross , it was like burned twigs in my food .I hade some hope for this place being so popular but we were very underwhelmed with the food and more so with the service . It didn't help matters that the man who appeared to be the manager was sitting in the dining room talking and eating with his wife after we were told that he would make and bring out my fritters . Obviously he had better things to do than take care of customers but have the audacity to thank us when we left conveniently forgetting that I didn't get most of the meal that I just overpaid for.

It was my first time trying this place. Young lady that helped me explained everything to me. She was really nice and had good customer service. I made my own "bowl/plate". Chicken with super greens, string beans, and broccoli. Everything was good however I didn't realize that the broccoli wasn't served warm so I didn't care for it particularly. Otherwise it's a good healthy option if you're in the area.

I love Maepole. The food is always fresh & delicious.I love it even more after the awesome owner personally delivered my order after Ubereats driver took over an hour with no response. He even remade our plates, so they were fresh.10/10 would recommend the Maepole on Epps.
