I know tons of people eat here, food portions will do that. But i dont think it's so special that I'd wait more than 15-20 minutes to get a table. The location was good and they do a fair job of checking up on you. All-n-all id say it was a pleasant experience with 7.5-8 out of 10.

I've eaten at Mama's Boy a lot and I know bad table service isn't the norm, which is why I rated them a 4 overall. I'll go again & I'll recommend them to others. If this had been my first experience with them I would never go back or recommend them. I'll never pre-tip when I place & pay for my order again, I'll wait until I after I've eaten and received service.

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner at Mama’s Boy’s tonight and the food, atmosphere and service were PHENOMENAL!! Tucker and Kelly were so helpful! We highly recommend!!

Come on it's Mama's boy except you can park. Yes it's loud, yes you WILL wait but the food is amazing, nothing bad on the menu, service is great and honestly...the Mama's boy Swag goes hard.

If you like Mama's boy, then you will enjoy this popular location. I've never been where there wasn't at least a few minutes wait to be seated, but once you place your order (counter service order) it comes fairly quickly to your table. This is a mix between counter service and a table service style restaurant with more of a sit down feel. It's uptown home style southern mainly breakfast (with a few sandwiches and salads) cooking with huge fluffy biscuits and jam.

My wife got the Avacado Toast which for $8 she was given one average sized slice. No joke...
I got the Truckstop Biscuits and Gravey which was ok but for half the price I could get more meat and the same quality at Martins drive through in Norcross.

One thing I would recommend is to warm the plates so when the good is served it isn't cold upon arrival. The food is good but if the plates are warmed the food will stay hot. The bldg was super cold....

I was very excited to eat at Mama's Boy as I had heard it was really good. We had to order at the counter before sitting at a table. The restaurant was not full. We waited 45 minutes for our food. We had to get up and refill our own waters and coffee as there were no servers attending to our table. The food was not good. The bacon was so hard I couldn't chew it. So disappointed!

The food was delicious! Totally worth a short wait! Its really simple to get on the list and then you are assigned a table and order at the counter so make sure you know what you want before you get to the counter :) It’s cute inside and out. We did sit inside because of the rain. But I would have loved to sit outside. The staff was impeccable, everyone was super helpful from the beginning to the end!
