Don’t go by the online menu though; it is completely outdated! I read the menu link on trip advisor when choosing the restaurant and it was very misleading.
All in all a 10 out of 10 experience! Would go again!

I have loved the food, service and atmosphere for many years, but yesterday, I experienced the kindness and hospitality of Mama’s Boy like never before. My husband passed out while we were waiting for a table and the staff and other patrons were incredibly kind making sure we had drinks, food, a jacket to lay down on, called 911, and were just genuine, kind humans! We came on a business trip with a family member, and I took my kids to this location for the first time. When we arrived, it had just opened. The staff allowed me to sit and figure out what I wanted to order for my family and brought it to us.
They did a great job checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed and that we were having a great time. We enjoyed the large cinnamon roll, biscuits, and chocolate swirl milk! Big hit for my kiddos.
The owner was very friendly and recommended some other places to visit while we were in town. Every employee we came in contact with was kind and helpful. They made our experience one to remember!

Stopped here for lunch while visiting from out of town. The Georgia peach french toast and tofu stir fry were both delicious! I loved how they had plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.
The owner and the staff was friendly. Had a BTL and fries it was awesome. Will diffently go back.

It's 1 of the best little spots around for breakfast...in Athens if not the whole state. Lunch is good too. Just get used to ordering 1st and then sitting down. Breakfast tacos are always really good.
The food was tasty. The salmon biscuit had some very crisp (not soggy) salmon meat. I love that they have a kids menu! You even get real Crayola crayons. The only downside is they ask for a tip before you’re seated.

Four years ago, a friend, who is now deceased, took me to Mama's Boy for my birthday lunch. From that day to now, this unique restaurant has been a favorite. Such an asset to the Athens restaurant scene!

We used Mama's Boy catering service for our wedding in May of 2024. They were great to work with from planning to the actual event. We had the "Southern Supper" which was amazing!! During and after the wedding several guests told us that was the best wedding food they every had. It was obvious during the reception that our guests were extremely pleased with the food, especially that mouth-watering mac and cheese. Additionally, multiple to-go plates for two were packed and placed in the refrigerator for after the wedding. My husband and I ate them all as we recovered and got ready to leave for our honeymoon. I highly recommend Mama's Boy's catering service! We could not have asked for better service or food!
