I come to Athens once a year and finally got to go to this recommended restaurant. The food was good. I highly recommend the fried shrimp. Josh K was an excellent server.

Came in last week and had terrible service. Waited a good 5-10 mins to get someone to our table. Mind you, it was NOT busy. Ordered a drink, and saw the ppl that came in behind us go to the bar and ask for someone to help them with their drinks because nobody had come to their table. The bartender proceeded to tell the guy and his family to leave the The restaurant. Bar tender was so mean to the customer who had just asked for help. The customer was very polite and kind. After seeing that behavior, we decided to leave and not order food.

Came back again because we really wanted a grouper sandwich and decided to give it another try. Same experience as before. Saw one customer being insulted and leave. Luckily we had gotten our food pretty quick and it was delicious. I know this place isn’t busy. Service is awful! They treat you like they’re doing you a favor. Zero customer service whatsoever.

The staff hangs out in the back and talks to each other instead. The owner REALLY needs to know this and hungry patron is due too.
When you complain about it, they want to argue with you about it.

Awesome food, Great service! Will definitely be returning. A top restaurant in Athens! Would was cooked perfect. Fried green tomatoes were awesome!

Food and service were great but it was Super Hot inside. (It was near 100 degrees outside too)

Parking: Couple of parking spots against the building that make it super difficult to get in/out of the others running perpendicular to them.

We like to go for Sunday brunch, and we have never been disappointed. They definitely nail the coastal atmosphere, and the food is great (especially the crawdaddy hash!)
