Of the four student dining halls on the main UGA Campus, Oglethorpe Commons is the best for a full dinner. The atmosphere is middling, but the burritos and hot food line in the back are both guaranteed to satisfy all but the most distinguished tastes. Not the best for a light lunch, as most options are hearty rather than quick, and lines can exceed 20 minutes, especially for the Tex-Mex cuisine.
Dining services (in terms of the food) have gotten worse each year, with less and less varied options and more of the same!
Vegetarian options: Lots of labeled vegan options.
Dietary restrictions: Peanut free hall! All allergens left are labeled.

Its a good dining hall, but the ambiance definitely needs some updating. Also the floors are always slippery because of grease from the hibachi grill. The pasta, mexican, and sandwich lines are all good, but the hibachi line is not my favorite. They’ve gotten my order wrong multiple times and often prepare a vegetarian order in the meat section (even though they have a section on the grill specifically to avoid cross contamination)
