The food was really good, but the service was terrible. The hostess wasn't friendly in the slightest, in fact, none of the staff were very friendly. Ordered drinks with no ice and they both came out with ice in them which is forgivable but kinda annoying. Then when we got our food and had finished our drinks, they didn't bring us a new drink until we were finished eating. And that would be understandable if it were busy but it was really slow. Just not very good on speed or customer service in my opinion.

On The Border has the BEST happy hour deals. Recently I had an awesome server, Destiny. She recommended her favorites on the menu and was very attentive. It made our whole experience wonderful! Will definitely be back :)

This is my absolute favorite diet cheat place. I could make a meal off the chips and sauce alone. Our waitress, Sarah, worked very quickly and efficiently. She has a threat personality also. A extremely enjoyable visit!

This is my wife and mine favorite tex mex restaurant! The chips and salsa are like dessert before dinner. The meals are always warm with generous servings and sooo delicious. Our waitress, Sarah, was fantastic! Great service with a great personality. Made the meal even better.

So normally service is pretty good here at the Athens location but today was horrible. I asked for cheese dip to be brought out THREE times and by the time we got it, the food was already out. I ordered the fajitas which comes with rice and beans and the waiter told me that the rice and beans would come out shortly. Never got them. So basically had to finish my meal without the other side items. I wanted to ask for a cup of water but was afraid it would take 30 minutes for me to get it. I think the waiter was a bit new but i was not at all satisfied with the service. Ended up getting the queso for free in the end. Will probably not go back here for a long while.
