If anyone doesn't love this place it's probably because they don't like spice or real Latin American flavors. Every bite was a pleasure and the orange based margaritas were a nice twist. Quesabirria! The service was fantastic and the prices aren't bad. The pork was cooked perfectly and everything was crispy. The consume had a good flavor, but was on the watered-down side. I can tell there are fresh ingredients throughout and I hope that the consume was just a fluke and the next time I go back it's a little more concentrated. I'll definitely go back.

We’ve been to Poquitos twice now and have been very impressed with everything, the flavors are really good and very authentic, the atmosphere is nice and inviting and food comes quick. Would definitely recommend!
This place was referred to us by my son's girlfriend, she hit it right on the head!Very laid back, good food (limited menu) and Great outdoor space!Order at the counter and then be served. (That was a little disheveled) but, overall, good experience.If I have anything they should improve, it would be the ordering process, and the food service.We were all served at different times, so some of us were done eating and others were just starting.Thankfully, their outdoor seating area provided relaxation and a good social area where you just could sit and talk.

I went here for the first time last week with some friends. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the quesabirria meal and a limon agua fresca. The agua fresca was delicious but the quesabirria was okay. There are other places in Athens with better Mexican/Latin American food in my opinion.

I love Poquitos! It’s very authentic Mexican cuisine and it’s one of my favorite places to eat in Athens. When I went last time, they had an expanded food/drink menu compared to when they first opened, which I really appreciated. The service is always quick, too!

We had 2 tacos & 2 Cokes & the bill was $16.20. I checked the “No tip” option as there is no waitressing - they bring the food to you & that’s it. No need to leave a tip. The actual charge was $20.70. Someone added a $4.50 tip to our bill after we left. Shame on us for not getting the receipt but still. Scammers. Average food. Overpriced. Bland. Beware.
