I've been coming here since they opened, and watched them tweak and perfect the menu over time. The food is SO good. There's not a lot of really fresh food on the eastside- they deliver. I carry salt in my keychain because some sit-down places like this think they season things perfectly and they don't. Everything is seasoned perfectly, and I've never had to add salt. The mac and cheese is genuinely- and I am not exaggerating- the best I've ever had. The service is incredible and friendly. The owner is frequently around and a really nice guy. Come here to feel like you're eating at grandma's house.

I went there today for lunch, very friendly staff clean restaurant, and it was the best meatloaf I’ve ever tasted my whole life, the green beans, perfect flavor with the mashed potatoes. Highly recommend trying them out. Bill Holman

Friendly relaxing atmosphere! The food is absolutely amazing! We had a group of 6 and we tried almost everything on the menu and it was all so so good. Loved the Buttermilk Pie! We will be back on our next visit.

Stopped in for lunch while my sweet Ellie was at the UGA veterinary hospital. Yummy, southern comfort food with good heavy AND light options! I had the Salmon BLT with collard greens and added on sweet potato purée; so glad I did! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Will be back when in Athens!
