Honestly the food was awful. I love Korean food, I love BBQ. But their style of fusion just doesn't work. The baked beans were made with a heavy dose of soybean paste. My son loves baked beans and started crying after eating these because he was so disappointed. I had one bite and it was inedibly bad. The Mac n Cheese was full of weirdly dry pieces and tasted like it had been under a heat light all day. The actual meat itself was good but the sauces left much to be desired. Kicking myself for getting the 4-piece family meal because now we're stuck eating it.

Lots of options and friendly service. There's a variety of Korean infused flavors here, which is an interesting twist. Try to come a little before the lunch rush on weekends since it seems they run out of options rather quickly.

Never been there before. Wont be back. Got there right at 12. Asked what I wanted said I'd have to wait on customer to order first before they could serve me. In case they wanted what i wanted. Limited quantity. Then walked off. 10 min later I left. Didn't even acknowledge I was still there.

I've been eating at Pulaski Heights for nearly a decade and it's easily my favorite restaurant in Athens. The staff is incredibly kind, caring, and hardworking. The historic Leathers Building is nestled in on the most "Athens" neighbors. Menu-wise, there are no misses. I've eaten everything on the menu and it's all spectacular. If it's your first time, try some of the pecans, deviled eggs, smoked cauliflower, and pulled pork. Don't sleep on the kool-aid, either. End your meal with some of their banana pudding. Each of Chuck's BBQ sauce brings something different but I'm a steadfast supporter of the vinegar based sauce. My favorite memory is the one time I saw cake on the specials menu. I still dream of that cake. Chuck and his team have built an institution on the tracks in Pulaski that has become the fabric of our community. As more and more chain BBQ restaurants open up, we as Athenians need to support great local businesses like Pulaski Heights.

They get a 3 only because of the service. I really wanted to like this place and the food looked so good online, but it just was not good. Started with the deviled eggs and they were completely over powered with mustard. It tasted like someone squirted it straight from a bottle into my mouth. Yuck. Ordered the stew they have? Server said it was very peppery and he was not kidding. Yuck again. Tasted like someone just put as much pepper in it as they could and no other flavor. Ribs looked really good and smelled awesome. But they just were not good or tender and there was hardly any meat. The top part of the rib was all fat and cartilage. I needed a knife to cut the meat off. Shouldn't need to do that for ribs. Mac and cheese was pretty good!Overall do not recommend based off of what I had. The service was top notch though and the manager didn't charge us for the food which I very much appreciate. If they can fix the food I would absolutely try there again because it smelled amazing inside. Maybe just an off day on the ribs? They looked like they should have been done but just didn't make it. Ribs should pass the bend test. Cook till you pick the rack up and they bend in the middle without breaking.

I'm not a fan of the BBQ, best way I can describe it is "hipster BBQ". If I'm being honest, it didn't taste like any BBQ I've had before.

I love this place. The atmosphere is great, and humble in size with outdoor sitting next to RR tracks.I don’t know why I don’t eat here more!! The food is affordable, menu items are clearly marked for V, GF options, plusI’ve never had a bad itemSquash casserole (to die for)Smoke cauliflower ( even if you don’t like cauliflower give it a try)Baked beans.Redneck RuebenSmoked wingsPulled pork is always tender and juicy. You add your own sauce, with 4 to choose from.Inauthentic Ramen is so good and VERY filling so bring your appetite.Their homemade bread and butter pickles are what convinced me that not all pickles are bad.The have a motto “we don’t run out, we sell out” personally I am a fan of their limited supply of foods each day. This means they don’t have mountains of food waste a day and I appreciate that so much!Oh! And do NOT forget the banana pudding - second only to my Granny’sVegetarian options: Smoked cauliflower, smoked tofuVegneck Reuben, collards, pimento cheese

So we sought out the restaurant from food network show. My daughter is a food so we decided to give it a try. Well the food was good sided very flavorful. HOWEVER THE SERVICE or should I say server was very RUDE!! She was very short with her answers and even rolled her eyes at me one time. We had a very bad experience. Final straw was when I went to pay our check she took my credit card and came back and said " this was declined do you have another card. Well at that point I was very confused about that knowing there were funds available, but my daughter had to give one of her cc. When the server came back to talk slamed the card and cc receipt down it was for double the check amount. At this point I ask for a manager. She said sure he is the owner. Well that didn't help the cause he came to table with an attitude from the start. While talking with us the server came back by table and rudely with attitude said "My gosh it was a mistake" the manager/ owner standing there heard that and I pointed out that was the rude attitude I was telling him about. He look at me as if I was the one in the wrong. Just wanted some bbq and southern hospitality. It was far from that. With all that said with no Apology from either. So if you want good bbq it's here just get it to go because the owner and staff don't care about your experience.

Good barbecue, well executed, and good service. Low key setting, and pretty quick service made it a nice dining experience. I got the deviled eggs(very mustardy, avg.), chicken sandwich(good flavor on the chicken), baked beans(dark, heavy bbq flavor), mac and cheese (really good), and banana pudding(avg, run of the mill).

Pulaski BBQ is a must-visit for BBQ lovers. Their smoked tofu is absolutely remarkable. Being from the BBQ capitol of the world, Texas, I've never encountered smoked tofu at this quality. Staff is also nice and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Each time I’m sent to Athens, GA for a business workshop, I make an effort to order takeout, but this time I dined in with 4 others that I brought. Ordered the last of the ribs, eaten with 3 of many sauces to choose from, Mac & cheese and collards.

Finally tried the brisket ramen. The brisket was perfect, the collard greens, the noodles the thick cut bacon all perfect. But the broth was sooooooo unbearably salty and devoid of any other flavour that it ruined the whole dish ☹️
