We ate here during a weekend visit to UGA. It was by far the best meal we had the entire visit. The atmosphere was great, the waitress and staff were excellent, and the food was soooo good! The croissants were melt-in-your-mouth flaky goodness. I would come here everyday just for those! Filets, salmon, mashed potatoes and even the Caesar salad was all amazing. I had two fish-bowl margaritas, and omg they were so tasty, and were only $7 each. And this wasn’t during happy hour. If I had known the margaritas were only $7 when I ordered them, I would have a had a few more! Don’t pass this place up. Best place to eat and have a few drinks while in Athens. We will definitely be making this place our go to restaurant whenever visiting Athens!!
I brought 2 of my girl friends with me this time and they loved it too! We had wine and steak dinners with salads and loaded baked potatoes. Our server, Ryan and the manager were both very nice. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and of course we had a basket of the melt in your mouth drizzled honey pecan croissants. Those are always the highlight of coming there! I forgot to get some to go! But I will next time. Thank you!
First, if you have a large group they have a sign they won't seat groups of 12 or more together (we were a party of 11 and missed the sign). They did finally accommodate, but we almost left (because they weren't really busy) due to them splitting us into 2 groups at tables that couldn't be rearranged. Once seated, we had an excellent waitress and the food was good. I highly recommend the fried mushrooms & horseradish sauce. Cheese fries (with bacon and ranch) were good, and the Honey pecan croissants are also a win. Everything else was ok in my opinion. I didn't get many pictures, but enjoyed time with family.
I ordered 3 chicken salads and had to return them got new ones and they was not any better. I was so disappointed
Food was great and the wait staff perfect. Gives 15% military discount.
First time here. Hamburger was ok. Fries were undercooked. Chicken fingers no taste and rubber texture. Service was ok. Not overwhelming just ok. Atmosphere was not great. Better options in my opinion to choose from. No manager in sight.
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
My mom and I came to this restaurant, and as soon as we walked in (despite the restaurant being packed) we were seated. The host was extremely friendly, we chatted about history. The water is definitely from the tap, but doesn't have as strong of a chlorine taste as other restaurants do, so I assume it has a filter. Mom said her tea was perfectly sweet. We came around lunch time, so she got the lunch combo with a half club sandwich and potato soup. The half sandwich was massive! She enjoyed everything she got. I got the appetizer nachos as my main course. I am pescatarian, and asked to substitute the chili on the nachos for fish. The waiter was very understanding and asked the kitchen. I got my nachos and they were AMAZING!! Genuinely some of the best I've ever had, and I've had lots of nachos haha. A person I'm assuming is the manager came by and asked how our food was, very friendly and pleasant. I feel like I need to state again how nice our waiter, Jaiden N, was. He was professional but personal at the same time, did not rush us, and refilled drinks quickly. Answered all questions and always had a smile on his face. The atmosphere is like any bar food restaurant, very clean, plenty of table space, and an average amount of space between tables. We will be returning when we're back in Athens!
Always quality well prepared food and really great service. I wouldn’t recommend for vegetarians.
The large number of folks waiting to be seated belies the tener of the restaurant. It is typical so-called "Gather Eat Drink" place similar to Applebee's etc. so basically they follow the recipe - classic American "comfort food" the $10 burgers and such. This particular visit was right after church on Sunday so it was a bit busy. After waiting for our lukewarm food for twenty minutes my response from the MoD was "were busy today" like it was the first Sunday they have been open. I am very frustrated these days spending my hard earned money on mediocre food and service. Their only saving grace was ice cold draft beer. Because of their apparent mismanagement you should set your bar low for your next visit. P.S. my "fresh made" tortilla chips were stale.
Always a good place for meals with friends. Great atmosphere and service.

Last night was our first (and last) time here. Our server was rude, my $30 prime rib was colder than room temperature and flavorless. My son's hamburger had a long hair attached to the bottom of the bun he didn't notice until he was half way done and couldn't even finish it. Would not pay over $85 for a mediocre meal at best.
