Thursday, May 2ndI always order through the app. I Don’t really have time to go inside to place an order with my busy work schedule. However, I went to pick up my order which was awful! I basically paid $9.69 for colored water with a hint of oat milk and fruits. Water down juice is what it tasted liked on my tongue palette. As a small business owner, with inflation, and this Biden administration, I do understand that companies are cutting back, and/or raising the cost. This isn’t my first incident. Due to the fact that I’m in Athens most of the time. I do not have many options because this is the only Smoothie King in the area. The next one is like 24-30 miles in Winder, which is 100% better because the product isn’t watered down. I tried Planet Smoothie which isn’t that great. Because I didn’t like the treatment at this location, or the quality of their smoothies which I’ve tried numerous of times. However they seem to not get it right. Yesterday was the final straw. They do not keep the same staff like Winder which means they must have a high turnover. Maybe no one wants to work there. When the owner isn’t there, you might be able to get a good smoothie but that depends on who’s making it. I will be trying out of different smoothie places in the area, but not this one again.

I haven't been since I used to bring my teenager here and things have changed a lot. There are now a lot more options to have real fruit and veg without any form of sugar or sugar substitute. The staff were very friendly and willing to help me navigate the ingredients of my shake with patience and kindness and no trace of irritation. They also treated my son very well in his effort to have the ideal Dude Perfect smoothie experience. I will definitely be back!
Dietary restrictions: They were very willing to modify shakes to my specifications for my own needs. Five stars for that!
Kid-friendliness: They treated my kid as if his YouTube obsessed concerns were of the utmost importance. Five stars on that!
