Wonderful restaurant! The food is always amazing, and the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. When my wife and I get a date night, we always seem to end up back at South Kitchen because there simply isn’t anywhere else better!

Fantastic brunch in Athens! The menu selections are great & the staff & atmosphere are 5 star. Exceptional experience every time we've been. I think it would be hard to go wrong at South Kitchen.

The duck fat tots and great server were the stars of the show. The watery bloody Mary, bitter seasonal mule and dry, bland green tomato Benedict with a speck of hollandaise were not.

after dining at south kitchen in celebration of our second anniversary, my partner and i have found ourselves in a nearly catatonic state of euphoria. we can muster up only enough strength to write this review though, because everyone should know how good this place is.
the food and drinks were spectacular, but our service from reece really made the experience unforgettable. if serving is an art, reece is a true virtuoso.
definitely pricey, but if you have a reason to celebrate, south is well worth it. can’t wait until we can come back again!!

I didn’t enjoy being told as a wheelchair user that I had to go to the back of the building, roll by multiple dumpsters to enter the building. It’s an old building. Food was ok. I won’t be back.
