Great service. Great atmosphere. The food was lacking. Biscuit was overly salty. Sausages were cold in the center. Eggs were not seasoned (which is fine, you’d just have to ask for salt a pepper). The duck taters were good but greasy, but deliciosu. Would come back again, but would order something else.

Planned a work event here. They made it so easy. Service is all-around great. Attendees had a great time and complimented the venue selection. I will definitely plan future events here!

Had a great dinner here. Super friendly staff. Good southern fare cooked to modern restaurant standards. Seated outside in the lovely Georgia fall. Wish I could come more often.

Quickly seated despite large group on a busy night; excellent bar service and server made excellent recommendations to everyone! Food arrived promptly and all were pleased with selections!

The restaurant is in an old building, but the high ceiling makes this restaurant looks spacious. The shrimp and grits tasted good. The sparkling rose was nice, and to watch a string of bubbles coming from one spot of the glass bottom was a fun.

Lamb chops were excellent. One in my party commented that the sweet potatoes were a little too buttery, but otherwise great all around. Underrated cocktail bar.

It was a beautiful evening - the servers and support staff were fabulous - made everyone feel at home and appreciated. The staff went out of their way to make sure we could fit children into our wedding rehearsal dinner

The atmosphere is great and the server was very nice and attentive.

I just had the Bar Burger because someone was treating me to dinner and I noticed the menu was more expensive than what's posted here, so I didn't want to overdo it.

The duck fat tater tots were perfectly fried and tasted good. The piniento cheese, too, although I wasn't a fan of the wasa bread (or whatever it was) that came with it.
The burger was pretty good, but it all fell out of the potato roll, which got very soggy very fast (I got it cooked medium, so maybe that was why).

My main problem was that I asked for mayo to go with my burger and they plopped down a thing of HELLMANN'S on the table. I realize Hellman's has a bit of a cult following, but many people do not like it at all, especially considering that it is actually a DRESSING, not exactly mayonnaise, and, imho, too weird and sweet-tasting to go on a burger. Especially if a place is called SOUTH, you'd think they'd have Duke's or at least a bland, middle-of-the-road alternative. And I didn't want to appear dissatisfied because I was someone's guest, so I wasn't able to ask what was up with that. So... Although the aioli was really good with the fries, the burger was fair to middling and the "mayo" absolutely unacceptable (to me, at least).

That being said, the shrimp and grits look divine and whenever I sell a kidney or something, I'll be happy to go back and pay $23 to try them.

The menu description was different from the food they served. Cesar salads did not have bacon. Steak did not have the horseradish butter indicated on the menu. The desserts were not tasty, and the restrooms were gross.
