It's starbucks. Very reliable. Best prices and coffee in downtown! This should not be the case but it is. @local is super expensive and tastes like water. Jittery joes is great everywhere except downtown athens, zombie coffee is gone and walkers only sells child sizes. This is the place for coffee in

Awful customer service and not what you'd expect from a Starbucks interior...no seating. Waited 20 minutes to get a Danish with a drink. Drink cake or quickly. Asked about it 10 minutes into our wait and the woman at the counter simply said "we've got a lot of orders" and turned her attention elsewhere. After another 10 minutes we asked again and the guy said "sorry, not all the tickets are printing out." Will not come back.

The employees at this Starbucks are the sweetest I've ever met! Sofia was amazing and I hope I get to see her smiling face more when I visit this Starbucks! She made my experience exceptional and made my morning so much brighter with her smile and welcoming conversation! Highly recommend this Starbucks simply for the amazing people (the drink was great too)!

(Preface: I worked at Starbucks, albeit not this one, so I'm well aware of how you're supposed to make the drinks.)Service here is questionable and kind of poor. I asked for no ice and was given a cup half filled with a latte. That's not normal, and while I didn't throw a fit in store, I was extremely pissed.
This Starbucks is in a great location in Downtown Athens. We found this location while on a walking shopping trip. There was a long line when we first walked by, but it had practically disappeared by the time we came back after ordering via the mobile app. There isn't a drive thru, so that means a lot of foot traffic comes through Starbucks in this popular area.Employees were nice. We had to wait a few minutes for our orders to come up, even though there wasn't a line. Our drinks were made as ordered, with no issue.We found out that there is an upper level to this Starbucks. Steep stairs going up. The middle of the room can accommodate a large group of people. Tables and chairs along the walls and windows allow singles and couples space for themselves.Oh, and the windows. The windows upstairs have been neglected for so long that they have a layer of dust on the shades and on the windows themselves. I found this out when I moved a few of the blinds slats next to the table that we sat at to allow us to look outside. Bad call on my part. I kicked up some dust - whatever dust didn't stick to my hand. I had to wipe the dust off my hands afterward.

Honestly, never going back here again!! As someone who worked a Starbucks for 9years. I can say I’m highly disappointed in how I was treated when, I politely told her she spelled my name wrong and I had asked for non-coffee based.. I will never understand how rude people get mad because they have to do their job! I’m sorry you you have to interact with people and actually talk to them!
