I love this bar. The staff are awesome. Me and my family sat outside and watched the college kids walk by. It was so cool. Some were dressed in evening gowns, with tuxedo dressed dates. It was like watching a crazy fashion show. The bar is huge. They have a second floor bar upstairs with bowling lanes. The building is so beautiful on the inside. Nice pool table, very level.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

Nice little place had an office Christmas party upstairs did a little bit of small Pin bowling it was catered the food was presented well tasted well kept stock and heated. Service was very good. Definitely an enjoyable venue to have an event. Will swing back on my own as well.

Admittedly, I was a huge fan of Transmet, so when it went OOB I was disappointed. While I will always miss their pizza... Starland Lounge came through with an awesome alternative and something different and better than all the other bars in Athens. Highly recommend Starland, go check it out!

We came expecting pizza (June 3, 2023) and they didn't have food offered yet. We were very confused that there were plenty of reviews with pizza, but it was just a bar after all. Not sure when the food will be available.
Based on the Yelp posting, I sauntered into this super-clean spot hoping for pizza. The polite gal behind the bar informed me that they longer no serving pizza. It was hard to be sad for long with a great selection of beer and whiskey. Still hungry but super-nice bar!

No food is served here as of 02/11/2023. It's no longer a pizza place.Duckpin bowling is a great concept with a lot of potential. The staff that was there were great and the drinks were well done. Excellent gin gimlet.They just need to hire more people upstairs. There was one bartender upstairs that was also in charge of the bowling lanes, which often require some quick maintenance. But between making drinks, getting people set up on the lanes, and troubleshooting the pin setup, it's just too much for one person to handle. They need a dedicated bowling employee in addition to the bartender. I would have ordered a few more drinks if there was a second employee upstairs.
