First, the parking area and entrance area have lots of litter. Inside is cleaner. At 5:30 p.m. only one bread was available for sandwiches (white), with other types not being ready for another hour. There were no greetings, and the staff seemed annoyed about preparing our orders. Overall, it was a disappointing visit.

I ordered a tuna sub and footlong pretzel online and managed to pick it up in 30 minutes. I checked in the bag before leaving and was missing my pretzel. At this point I could ask for it but the line had grown to 6 different people and there was only one smaller older lady, whom I had no particular issue with as she was clearly trying her best, I just wish I got my order fully. Judging from these reviews this is common. However my sub was fine and built as I ordered it.

They put out a surprisingly fresh and tasty sandwich here. The small location is easy to miss and quite humble, but it’s very convenient, being right between downtown Athens and the Normal Town district, and across from Piedmont Hospital. They had a very good sanitation rating and were very friendly.

There’s not a lot of parking there, but it probably doesn’t get very crowded anyway. I think it was pretty wheelchair accessible.
