Great pastries, great coffee, and great cakes. They serve 1000 faces espresso and I love getting their lattes. I’ve had 2 cakes made and they were both perfect (chocolate with Oreo frosting was amazing). I come in all the time for the pastries, black sesame croissants and red curry buns are the best!

We went by to pick up vegan pastries for breakfast as soon as they opened on a Saturday morning, but they only had some vegan wedding cookies. We were told we need to call ahead to order them, but that's not clear on their website. Sharing this review so other folks know to call ahead.

An adorable little shop that you must experience if you live in Athens! Their bakery selection has plenty of the “classics” as well as unique fun flavors that you won’t be able to get anywhere else in town (Thai tea cupcakes, red bean croissants, kimchi scones). Their cakes are on another level as well! And I’m always surprised at how low my total is (they’ve got great prices). Bonus: they normally have a few gluten free options!
Vegetarian options: Most of the pastries are sweet rather than savory. So by default, most are vegetarian
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options!

I don't live in Athens, but when I do come and travel past Sweetie Pie, I stop for a cup of coffee and something wonderful to enjoy with it, whether a scone or a Danish or a cookie. I've also used them to make special order birthday cakes and they have always been wonderful!
