An adorable little shop that you must experience if you live in Athens! Their bakery selection has plenty of the “classics” as well as unique fun flavors that you won’t be able to get anywhere else in town (Thai tea cupcakes, red bean croissants, kimchi scones). Their cakes are on another level as well! And I’m always surprised at how low my total is (they’ve got great prices). Bonus: they normally have a few gluten free options!Vegetarian options: Most of the pastries are sweet rather than savory. So by default, most are vegetarianDietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options!Parking: Free parking on either side of the building

I don't live in Athens, but when I do come and travel past Sweetie Pie, I stop for a cup of coffee and something wonderful to enjoy with it, whether a scone or a Danish or a cookie. I've also used them to make special order birthday cakes and they have always been wonderful!
I am blown away by the deliciousness and amazing customer service! We ordered a specialty cake for our kiddo’s birthday and Sweetie Pie by Savie came through. The cake looked amazing and it was absolutely delicious, AND gluten free. Thank you for such a wonderful cake!

I ordered a Lemon Meringue cake for my moms birthday. The cake was very pretty and the flavor was good, however, it was very dry.

My wife purchased a chocolate cake to take to work for her colleagues. She said it was the most delicious cake she had ever tasted so I bought one for her for Mother’s Day. I thought it was pricey ($50)until I tasted it. I’ve tried some of the unique flavors of their pastries and I’m hooked. Looking forward to my next trip to try something different.

OK start off with from the outside it doesn't look like a very impressive location but all that is over shadowed by the friendly people and helpful staff of this warm and inviting place. The cakes are my opinion the best I have had in Athens! If your looking for a Cake or even cookies and baked goods go here they even do Vegan items.
