Have been eating at TDS since they started as Sundown Cafe in Atlanta. I've now eaten at all GA locations. The Athens location did not disappoint. Great seafood special Eddie and the fish tacos were consistent as always.

Food is always great, and it’s tough to beat the atmosphere (especially during spring and fall). Service as far as efficiency is top notch. For the most part, employees are friendly and do well at handling the nonstop business. Unfortunately, there are at least two (full-time/regular) employees that are quite rude and unpleasant. It is clear that the customer’s presence alone is an inconvenience. Other than that, all around great spot for any Athens residents and visitors.

Best tacos & margaritas in Athens! Hard to imagine a trip to Athens without stopping by Taqueria Del Sol. You must try the salsa trio, fresh guac, fish taco, Memphis taco & chicken taco.

Parking: small parking lot next to restaurant + some street parking available
