Good food. I like the dish with rice, meat, and cheese dip poured over it. I can’t remember what it’s called. I tried the empanadas supreme today with steak and cheese dip for my sauce and it was also really good.

Eastside LaPa is always a decent spot for a quick bite. You’ll be in and out efficiently, prices are reasonable, food is good, and drinks are yummy. Go for the Perfect Margarita, it has fresh lime and agave!

I recently swung by Taqueria La Parrilla and it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The moment I walked in, the vibe felt welcoming and casual — exactly what you want when you’re looking for a relaxed meal without fuss. The place doesn’t try to be fancy; instead it nails the “easy-going local eatery” energy, where you can come as you are, whether alone or with friends.

What struck me most was how smoothly the visit went. The staff were polite and attentive, and even though the place had a steady flow of diners, service stayed friendly and efficient. Nothing felt rushed or overwhelming.

Another thing I liked: the value is solid. For a reasonable price, you get a meal that feels worth it — filling portions, straightforward plates, and a no-pressure atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot where you go when you just want something simple, satisfying, and low-key.

If I’m honest: Taqueria La Parrilla isn’t the place for a formal dinner or grand night out — but it is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner, a quick bite, or a relaxed get-together. I’d go back the next time I’m in the mood for easy food and comfy vibes.

Efrain was our server this past Monday (11/24/25), and my girlfriend and I had the best night we could have asked for. It was our reunion dinner after a long semester apart at one of our favorite restaurants close to home. His service was outstanding, so sweet and made sure he knew our orders and executed correctly. Food was excellent. It was an amazing night, he provided admirable service. Will ask for him again. Thank you Efrain.
