the food and service was absolutely terrible especially for how overpriced the food was. my burnt french toast with a small sprinkle of cinnamon and frozen eggs with a cup of shredded cheese dumped on top was not at all worth $17 and then they asked for tip! after complaining that the food was cold they stuck it in the microwave and served it back to me. this is completely unacceptable for a place that used to be talked about so highly!

It’s a cute place, but for a casual lunch (or brunch) I don’t think it’s worth it.Pros: The berries are cream were fresh and delicious! I also haven’t done the afternoon tea experience, so I could see that being really fun to try!Cons: My chicken salad was very, very wet and my partners breakfast sandwich was okay(ish). The meal felt overpriced for the quality and service took a lot longer than expected.

Lovely spot for tea and the breakfast and lunch menu are great too!!! It’s not a full service restaurant so some are expecting something it’s not but it was the perfect spot for us today- we will be back!!

I really like the food here but lately, every time I go, the tea pots look so dirty. Really takes away from the experience.

What a BUST! Some of the worst service in town. $30 breakfast and you'll need to knock on the kitchen door to get it an hour after you order it.

We went for the Low Tea service on a cold, rainy day. One of our party is gluten free, which I had failed to inform the Cafe. They produced a lovely GF tea option for her and we were all delighted with our food. It was tasty and beautifully presented. Service was minimal. The room was not noisy or cold. The online parking directions were accurate but still inadequate.

The idea was great for high tea but the server completely ignored us and I had to get up from the table any time I needed something. The food and tea were great tasting but way over priced for the experience. The server was not very clear on how the portioning worked for the table before hand. The reservation website details also did not inform me of how much anything was in terms of cost or what it included. Only a vague description. The chicken salad was very dry in the sandwiches. Macarons were half sized (TINY!) rather than a full macaron. I had to get up to request water then again to request service and then again to get my own to go boxes. We were uncomfortably close to another couple having tea and ended up bumping into them. Overall it wasn't a great experience and I wish I could have done something more special for my friend's celebration.

Customer service was awful, lady at the ordering counter was exceptionally rude. “Comments” you put during reservation are apparently your final order and you don't get to choose what you want at the restaurant (this wasn't mentioned anywhere during booking). They won't call to confirm what you want but will assume everyone in your party wants the same thing. Scones were pretty good, finger sandwiches were very dry and desserts were subpar. Tea was steeped for a little too long making it quite a bit bitter.

Lovely time. We had the place to ourself, Simple setting, nothing fancy. Food was good, nice variety, the scones were exceptional. A little pricey, for what you are getting but happy to have a local option of afternoon tea.

All was delightful. There could be a little more of a tea decor present. Tea cups should always be white and not stained when presented. We enjoyed ourselves. Glad there is someplace to have a tea party.

Not my style of place, lazy worker, and the food was kinda burnt.

Service and ambiance was great, the reason why I gave it 3 stars was bc of the parking...if you're driving a truck or a bigger SUV be careful not to scrape your car. I had the pimento and chicken salad. Pimento was great! Chicken salad was not the best. I'll probably come here again and try something different. It's a cute little place to go to and try out.

I love tea rooms and was so excited to try this. However, upon entering we were sat at a table and service was just not good. I do feel like it is such a scam to have people pay and tip before you get into the restaurant. We were sitting at a table and my cup was dirty, and that was replaced with no problem. When the tea was brought out to our table, I did ask for cream and did not get it. Eventually, I had to ask again and was brought some. The tea tray was brought out, and nothing on there was explained by the staff. The sandwiches tasted like they had been sitting most of the day, the tops of the bread were hard and stale. We got the Royal Tea and we didn't get our wine until almost the end of service. I just feel like for the price it wasn't worth it.
