The Carriage House Buffet of Athens

Love going here, but we did not get refills. We normally don't even have to ask. The young girl may be new because we have never had a problem with this before. Food was great as always.

Everything but the salad and greens was awful. It made my husband so bloated on the very little he ate. Will not ever go back.

The atmosphere is chill and the food is really good. Desert bar, big ice cream selection, and cotton candy to boot. Love eating here!!

Food was Great waitress not so much... She made sure Fiance Glass was full but only refilled my tea once.... Excuse me Hello I paid for this meal but for some reason I was a Ghost... The other waitress with the Pink Hair was very Nice so 5 Stars to her... She was there for the People this lady we had was hunting a Man ... No good...

Perfect for all you can eat. Hot and fresh always. Christy is the best server that they have and she makes the experience even better.

We went there for the first time after seeing it for years. The staff was pleasant enough. The meat was almost tasteless, we had to add a lot of salt and hot sauce to get through it. The vegetables were not wonderful, but tolerable. Still needed spices to get it all down. Never going there again.

2 stars to the staff and the Coca Cola. Paid $12 for a meal that reminded me of very cheap TV dinner. Neither myself nor my Mom could eat 1 small plate of the food. I guess it was actually a good thing that the buffet was so small. Both of us felt sick to our stomachs. Glad I had a Coke to settle my stomach.

Parking: They had spaces to park.

Chicken was very slimy. I paid 35 dollars to eat a salad no selection on the buffet fried or baked chicken i should have gone to Popeye We couldn't get our waitress to refill our drinks. We definitely won't be back.

Food was fresh and had good flavor. The service and staff were very nice and friendly. I will definitely be eating here again.

This place is absolutely amazing!! OJ the owner is super nice, waitresses are so sweet, all of the food tastes very delicious!! They have the best homemade barbecue sauce, if it’s not out, just ask for it, and a waitress will gladly give you some!! My husband and I love this place!! There’s also a Carriage House in Jefferson it’s just as amazing as this one is!! We highly recommend it!! ???

Extra place to eat.. The people are very friendly and personal. The food is so tasty and well executed. Gloves for everyone using the bar. The collard green was the best that I have eaten . Not greasy or vinegar. Very neat.

The chicken was dry an over cooked Both the Fried and barbecue chicken, The fried okra taste like freezer burn, the greens an greenbeans came straight out a can, The lemon pepper boneless chicken tasted nothing like lemon pepper but definitely taste like grease, All of the food is bland and has no flavor.. I suggest everyone go to food for the soul or Weaver D if you want good soul food, I mean even Rachel’s in Oconee is better than this an yall knw they don’t flavor they food but it’s better than here!!The staff here was very nice an friendly, an the sweeet tea was the absolute best

Carriage house dropped the ball today. Everything was flavorless. Also did not know you are charged a fee for using your debit card. The collards, cabbage, chicken were all flavorless. $53.17 for 3 people down the drain could not finish 1 plate. Staff was very friendly.

Great buffet style food. Gloves are provided and required. Fried chicken is awesome. There are lots of different foods including mac and cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes, roast beef, ham, turkey as well as salads. They offer a senior discount. Large dining area.

Super friendly staff. The restaurant was neat and clean. Salad bar had enough of a selection that I was okay with. The hot food buffet was plentiful, but found it a little lacking in flavor. A little bland maybe? I'll visit again because it's convenient to where I live and because the staff was great.
