As close to an Irish pub as you will find in Athens, GA. Draft beer selection is solid, and the food is good. Limited menu as you should expect from a pub, but they do it well. Excellent spot to unwind at the end of the day with a few friends and a few more pints.

The food is not to my taste. In my opinion, it was tasteless and had no special taste. The service was good and upon entering, they welcomed the customer with a glass of water and ice. The atmosphere of the bar and restaurant was great and relaxing and dynamic at the same time. Meanwhile, I left my water bottle and came back tomorrow and they kept it for me. The staff were kind, warm and polite

Was in Athens for Athensfest and had this location recommended by a store owner in town. Was very happy we listened! Solid chicken sandwich packing some flavor, and my fiancé enjoyed her burger. Bartender was friendly and service was quick. Super crispy french fries too, HIGHLY recommend getting some. Honestly some of the best I've had in a while.

Disappointed. I haven’t been to the Globe in a while And decided to have lunch on a day off. While I was offered a drink right away, after I decided what I wanted to order I had to sit there for a bit and sort of stay around to catch the eye of one of the 4 working. I ordered the Ruben and side salad. The sauerkraut and the Reuben was yellow and so I asked the employee what makes it yellow. Is it mustard or turmeric? And he said, I don’t know I don’t work in the kitchen. It is helpful when your staff know what you are serving and if you ask a question about it that they get you an answer instead of waving it off. Felt like a bother for even asking. Other than a beer, I don’t think I’ll be back for a while.
