I usually go to Juicy Crab every week and it usually is good. I specifically get a shrimp bag every week. I instantly bit into my shrimp last night it was horrible. The waiter told me it’s a new shrimp. Please go back to the old shrimp cause these news ones are horrible.

My food was over cooked and my drink was horrible. I immediately informed the Bartender/manager and he responded that the drink I had ordered and one other drink always tasted bad. Then he stated that the drink could not be taken off the check and brought me a half glass of grenadine and a can of pineapple juice to remake my own drink. This was my first horrible experience with a Juicy Crab establishment because I often dine at the Conyers and Macon locations and have never had a issue.

Hello my name is Wanda. My cousins and I visited Juicy Crab of Athens on 3/24/24 at 1:30 pm. We were looking forward all week long, because we had a wonderful experience at the Juicy Crab of Conyers on my birthday at the beginning of March. The food arrived pretty quickly, however; the mixed drink one of my cousin ordered was terrible. It was brought to the manager attention on duty how awful the mixed drink was. He was polite to us by explaining the drink that she ordered tasted that way due to what it was made of ,and how he could not take it off the ticket nor could he re-do the drink without charging her. We all decided that it would take longer to drive to Conyers Juicy Crab ,but that it would be well worth the drive to be satisfied. Very disappointed with quality of services received and we will not be returning to Athens location!

Delicious low country boil in Athens! When we are craving crab legs... this is our go to place!
Friday night was probably well over my 20th visit to the Athens location. I was extremely disappointed. There was only 3 other tables of guests. There was more than 7 employees working on the front floor, most were rolling napkins and utensils. After we were seated, not a single employee came to our table. We sat there approximately 15 minutes before we decided to just leave. Multiple employees looked at us just sitting there but did nothing.When I stepped back inside to accurately count the other guests, an employee finally spoke to me. Allegedly, they didn't know who's table it was. I was honestly shocked by the lack of service. It was a first from any of their locations.

Me and my family love Juicy Crab. We have visited the one in Buford, Lawrenceville and Austell, yesterday we went to the one in Athens GA. The food as always is super good but in this specific store the service is super bad. The bartender was very disrespectful. We ordered a Margarita and he made me a different drink when I went to ask him if I could change it because it wasn't what I had ordered. He was very rude and answered "I only have two hands" and started arguing when I told him that I wasn't saying nothing bad just to change it and to please lower my voice because he was yelling at me in front of several customers. Little staff for a day where more services are demanded. The super sweet waitress Wandy was excellent.

Prices are too high for the amount of food you get plus the quality of the food is awful! If you want overpriced and overcooked seafood this place might be the place for you.

We are a family of foodies and we love to eat out and try different restaurants. The Juicy Crab is our absolute favorite. The staff is consistent and are always very friendly and attentive. The food is always fantastic and we leave the restaurant eagerly awaiting our next visit. If you love seafood and/or steam baskets you have to give it a try.

Our food was delicious! All of it was steamed in a bag that came to our table. It’s a rustic type atmosphere, not fancy, but it’s important to have great food!Dietary restrictions: I needed something that was not smothered with butter. So I ordered steamed shrimp and broccoli.

My first time visiting and definitely will be my last. Which is sad cause I love juicy crab but I love eating at one in Duluth or snellville. I came here tonight 11/11 at 6 something and I saw coupon online for $10 no crab legs only get sausage and egg and corn and potatoes and second one $17 1 clusters crab and potato and corn well my friend and I came here tonight. The server we had Amir E(That what it says on receipt) he did offend me by saying I should read fine print. The $10 special is over with. Mind you online it says November 6 to 20th. I know what today was 11/11 and for him to make me feel like I’m in the wrong was crazy to me. I did check him and told him I didn’t like how he said that to me and made me feel like I can’t read. He did apologize several times but I couldn’t get over it because I know what I read online and on actual juicy crab website.Also, for general manager I know he Gay and Gay people are extra. He could have been more nice about situation he was way to extra when my friend and I telling him that this was false advertisement. He was so damn extra I literally want to just walk out. I just let him talk and stayed quiet. A discount would have been nice since really came because of that deal we saw online.When my friend asked who that was the waiter Amir said oh the one with pretty eyes. Now what does his eyes got to do with anything. All he had to do was say that was general manager.Food was alright, my bag didn’t have a lot of sauce in it and I asked another waiter how come I didn’t have much sauce and he said that’s normally how much sauce they put in bag. FWhich is new for me cause duluth and snellville gives a lot of sauce in bag. But each place is different I guess. My first time ordering eggs cost me $5 for 3 eggs is waste of money. Eggs are so nasty never again ordering eggs from juicy crabSo, I will not be returning cause the disrespect is real at this location. Crazy part I was happy when I walked inside the restaurant. Was excited to go to juicy crab Athens for first time and called my friend to come try it with me.

First time to this location. It seem a little chaotic when I walked in. The music is too loud and everyone is talking too loud because of the music. Not a big location. It took awhile to take my order for drink order. where we were going to leave but they came over when I was taking my keys out. The food was too salty the sauce but came out hot. I have been a fan of Lou Lou in Duluth for years and this place doesn't compare to their sauce. The staff have their personal items in plain view at a table with the customer sit I don't think that's a good idea to have that sitting there. They could do much better. Have a better selection of music beside R &B playing you want to draw a variety of people to come. I will not return.
