Bar tender said my friends ID was not valid because she has a AZ ID and they have a long expiration date so “she didn’t feel comfortable serving her”. Service isn’t great. They refused a patron’s ID because of a personal opinion about the expiration date instead of factual evidence. It was disappointing to see honestly. There are plenty of other places to get great cocktails and not be subjected to bias.

They actually have multiple mocktail options for those who don’t drink alcohol (such as myself). I really appreciate this, as The Old Pal is a cozy place I like to go to with my friends after rehearsal. Please keep making new mocktails! They are much appreciated.
Fun neighborhood bar. It was really dark the night we went (couldn’t even see the cocktail menu) but the drinks were well made and the prices were good for cocktails. Pretty traditional cocktail menu with a relaxed, good vibe.

Best cocktail bar in Athens. I am usually a talkative person, but I can't speak highly and enough of this place. We have made it our date night for several years now and I literally can't think of a single poor interaction with the staff. Even if a cocktail is not to taste for us it is at least well made.
