The food is good here but the employees are terrible. Like awful. Like to the point I don’t come here very often even though it’s much better food than the other location :/

There are some nice staff there. I've been greeted by two complete jerks recently. No greeting. I don't expect an effing ceremony if I tip. But, when I tipped on both occasions I just got an indifferent lack of even acknowledging it. I have worked for tips for years. It's just seriously ah attitude. The few rude make staff made it a bad experience for me.

If you plan on ordering online, double-check that they're open first, I guess. They decided to close for the day without ensuring that their online ordering reflected as such. I didn't find out until I showed up at their door and found a cardboard sign - after I had already paid for the food. Their third-party ordering service, ChowNow, was efficient in promising me a refund, though I have yet to receive the email confirmation they said I would get "when it is approved". In the future, if you're going to be closed outside normal hours, maybe make sure your online ordering is updated before people spend money through it.

Not Mexican food, not even Tex-Mex. Thoroughly disappointed with my steak “deluxe burrito”, took four bites to hit steak which was over half the burrito. I wouldn’t eat here again if I was starving. Selling nothing but disappointment here. Better off at Taco Bell across the street.
By some fluke, I have never had Taco Stand, even though I live in Athens and grew up 30min south of it......I HAVE WASTED TOO MANY YEARS....Don't make my mistake, try Taco Stand now! So freaking good. My wife talked me into eating here, she's a huge fan! The Fiesta Sauce and Queso dips are incredible. I was too busy inhaling my food and forgot to get good pics!. I had a Beef and Bean Combo burrito. Top notch! If you read a review claiming the food isn't good, be careful. People that don't like Taco Stand steal candy from babies, take up 2 parking spaces, and steal more than one penny from free penny tray. Lol you've been warned. Great Burritos, Great Dips!

Hands down the best hard shell beef taco. I have been craving a beef taco since last week but the places I've been haven't been giving me that taste I have been craving. This place hit the spot!!!!! Plus the music they were playing was perfect for the mood I was in.....definitely returning for more!
