We ordered the boiled peanuts, pimento burger and the carolina dip with a side of sweet potato fries.Boiled peanuts were hardly boiled but tasted 6/10pimento burger was like something you could get from Mcdonald’s 5/10the carolina dip was messy and not worth the hassle 3/10sweet potato fries tasted chalky 3/10Everyone talked about how good the sauces were and they were 7/10.

LEXI!!! That girl made our whole visit! First time here and can't wait to come back to Athens already, just to eat here again. We tried the Ahi Tuna appetizer with chips, which was delicious. I wanted the Lamb burger, but unfortunately they were out. However, The kitchen did make me a regular beef burger with the lamb burger setup and YUUMMMM!!! My family had burgers too and we all had the delicious fries. All while receiving the BEST service from Lexi! She was friendly and funny and went out of her way to get to know us and welcome us to the town. Made our night!!

The Trappeze Pub is an excellent place to eat if you are in Athens and looking for a good meal. We were able to walk in and get seated almost immediately. The food was great, and our server made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner.

There's a reason why this place wins BEST FRIES every year. Legit gastro pub with a well-crafted tap list (Exceptional Anderson Valley beers on my visit). Great bar area with little booths to feel like you are with the gang or on your own.

One of my Athens favorites! Their fries are a must, especially with the raspberry ketchup. Loaded Mac and cheese was rich but good. The staff is always very friendly as well.

Good local restaurant. we enjoyed our meals. Good beer selection. Would definitely be back. Only concern is that they allowed a 7, 8 and 4 year old to sit at the bar. The youngest was actually sitting on the bar. Not a fan of establishments that promote this. Plenty of tables for the family to be able to sit together. Sorry, personal pet peeve.

A pretty good place to start out the night with good food offering and drinks. It’s split, one side is restaurant and the other pub; definitely prefer the vibe of the pub side. Not terribly busy but the 3 bartenders seem to have a difficult time keeping up. Once we were done eating we were certainly ready to hit the strip.

We had a late lunch prior to watching UGA take on the IA Hawkeyes for baseball. It was close to campus and parking was easy. We were seated in the bar and found those tables to be uncomfortable. My son is 6'5" and the table was pretty much in his lap. Would have preferred to have been seated in main dining room, but didn't change our rating. My son and I each had pub burgers and my husband the grilled chicken bacon ranch. I tried the raspberry ketchup and the others the garlic aioli. The raspberry ketchup with those hand cut fries was amazing!! Offered me my soda to go which I highly appreciate! Overall an awesome experience!
