We've been to this waffle house before, until today had absolutely no complaints. Today however, sat down and ordered, and when the food arrives, there's a hair in it. The staff gets informed, but they act very nonchalant about there being a hair in the food. They said it was an accident, while the cook was NOT wearing a hair net for his (pretty long) beard.
When the staff was asked about the cook and his beard, they said that he doesn't have to wear a hair net. That's the first time I've heard that.
Apparently the hair in food incident is not a one-off based on the reviews. Also, I can confirm that there were quite a few empty tables with a lot of dirty plates. And when people tried to sit down, they got told loudly and kinda rudely to not sit down until the table is cleared.

Food's usually great, customer service pretty good too. But every time I come here, most of the tables seem to be full of the trash from the previous customer. I don't know if they only clear tables in waves or what, but it needs to be done more quickly. Half the tables are empty but they all have dirty dishes on them. And all but the counter seats is empty and the all too have dirty dishes in front of them today. I shouldn't have to wait for someone to clear a seat when there's that many empty seats.

Our waitress (Natalie? I think?) is always the best! She listens to what you want, makes suggestions, and brings you exactly what you ordered! She works like a dog, too! Always helping others, clearing tables, or washing dishes. I'm sure she is not paid near her worth to Waffle House! And I pray I have her name right. I'm sure she could really use all the shout outs she can get!

I ordered a waffle, hashbrowns, and a chocolate milk for takeout on a thursday evening. 3 other parties were seated at booths, all with food. No other people ordered food during my wait. It took the three employees over 27 minutes to make my order. They were loudly using profane words rapping to eachother, sitting on the counter, playing on their phone… I watched for 20 minutes waiting for someone to begin preparing my food. Another customer had to walk up to get a refill on water after not being helped during this time.
After finally being given my food, he did not include my drink. I asked about the chocolate milk (which i paid for) and the young man says “well we don’t even have to-go cups soooo”… insinuating i should leave without the drink. I asked if I could have something to-go, and he offered an orange juice.
I’m in my 20’s, but the three barely teenage employees didn’t seem like they could be left to their own devices to operate this restaurant. It waffle house, i’m not expecting the Ritz. But waiting nearly half an hour for my small order was quite frustrating.
