Stopped serving food… um…? Is there anywhere I can get good coffee and food together here??

Chuck the doorman made us feel very unwelcome. He commented that my friend asked for girls numbers. It's a bar. Welcome to the world. He asked for one girls number. He was kind and polite. The world has absolutely lost it.

I BELIEVE AN EMPLOYEE CHARGED ME A SHOT AND SHE TOOK IT AT THE BAR AFTER SHE CLOCKED OUT.I’ve been walkers plenty. It’s a college spot for sure so you know what you’re getting. But I was recently SCAMMED by here. I believe the bartender/barista charged a shot onto my account, clocked out, and took the shot while sitting at the bar after her shift.I ordered a few beers and a coffee for my girlfriend. The tab I got back when I went to pay didn’t make sense for the amount so I asked the bartender which had changed from shift change. He then asked the bartender who helped me, and she said I don’t know what you’re talking about but didn’t help figure it out just minded her own business. The bartender then made me pay the full incorrect payment of the tab, for the shot I didn’t even take (the employee definitely took it) and then made me pay for the corrected tab after the fact. He said he voided the first tab but it was already charged so I had to pay both but the first one would be refunded within a few days and if not to call them and figure it out. Guess what ? Didn’t get refunded. I called the place 19 times, and got put to voicemail everytime. I don’t live in Athens, was simply visiting as a stop on my return from Spring Break towards my college. So what am I to do now ? I currently paid 50 bucks for a few beers and a coffee ! PBRs are $3.50 for reference lol.Again, I know this is a college bar but I cannot stand when someone does something morally wrong. Not that hard to be a good person. For sure made me lose my respect for this place. Would not recommend for customer service at all as you can read from other comments. Plenty of other spots that have beer, coffee, and dry pastries in Athens that serve you with a little human compassion. Again, I BELIEVE THE EMPLOYEE CHARGED ME A SHOT THAT SHE TOOK.

Worst latte I’ve ever had and $7.29 for a small…the woman taking my order was rude as well. Better off going to Starbucks on the corner if you’re just looking for a coffee!

Great place to come to study or grab a coffee/drink. Turns into an awesome pub at night and they make the best espresso martinis in athens! Their coffees during the day are excellent as well. Great atmosphere.

Go here if you want to be treated like garbage. I’ve been going here the past couple months and never had any problems until I ran into the rude blonde lady (working morning on 3/29/2023). After reading other reviews, I’ve noticed a pattern… the blonde lady is often rude and disrespectful. Get rid of her!
